There was a small queue of people waiting and so we thought we could be waiting around 15-20mins but NO, the food was ready before we even had chance to sit down at our table, not many places have that sort of speed. The food here is fantastic and the pricing is great. For as long as I can remember Franco's has always been my restaurant of choice for any special event. The staff are great - so friendly and welcoming. They cook the food to your specific requirements and nothing is too much. You should definitely visit Franco's if you're in the area. Why not have a day out shopping in the village of Longridge and finish the day with a meal here. The food menu is considerably smaller than it used to be but there is a note saying that if you can't see what you want, just ask and they will cook it for you. The wine list is as good as it ever was. There is still a good choice for those of us who are veggie - several beancurd dishes to choose from. Portions were generous and flavours were good. On the downside we felt there was a bit too much cornflour in the sauces, making them a bit too claggy and sticky. And the bits of wild rice in with the regular rice was most odd - it looked like mouse droppings! It is great to see Yvonne back running the place - we missed her when she was running the Barrow branch! We will definately be back and are delighted that this restaurant is back again!
