At the same time, the meat felt drained and didn't have much flavor either. I think their portioning saves them because they are very generous with the meat. I'd love a large option with more noodles, though pho here is already quite expensive. I also got a signature milk tea with honey boba. It was a mid boba drink: some boba was stuck together and it was quite chewy while the tea got a bit rough near the end. The price is normal. The service at Mi&Tea is pretty good and there's nothing wrong. They are very polite and accommodating, definitely trying their best. The restaurant is ran by Vietnamese locals in the kitchen and the servers are usually young students.

First, they don't make the kimchi fries we used to love. They were out of honey boba so we left and came back later.... Then they were out of black tea and didn't tell us... just made our orders with green tea which I hate with milky teas. I used to love the French rose but it was awful. Charged me for a replacement until I argued about it. Ordered three Thai teas... another favorite. Tasted like water. The former owner used real Thai tea. The straws were even messed up and wouldn't poke through the lids. I won't be back.

It's a comforting embrace on your dehydration from partying the night before. It's the gentle kiss of the sunlight on the first spring day. It's the caress of the lover that got away. Today I needed food to hit my soul. I've had a lot going on and sometimes it's hard to find that special dish that will make your day. This bowl gave me hope and vitality. What a lovely and well seasoned experience. I don't write reviews often but this experience hit different. Please be kind to restaurant staff. Food tastes better when you have a good heart.

The broth has a slightly sweet flavor that I personally really enjoy. Their salted lemonade is really fresh and refreshing, it's a must-order every time I visit! My only complaint is the portion size. The bowls are a bit small. As a female, I need to order a large to feel full. Most males may probably want to order an appetizer or another dish on the side. Service is pretty much the same as it was at the old Vietnamese Restaurant, minimal and not particularly attentive. Overall, the food keeps me coming back, especially the pho and salted lemonade. Four stars.

You can tell she puts a lot of heart into preserving and carrying on the Le family's authentic flavors and traditions. Their lotus salad is the best in town. The pho and house special rice dishes are my usual go-to dishes and always hit the spot. Recently, we tried two of their new dishes and were really impressed. The stone bowl pho was amazing--the broth was incredibly smooth, clean, and natural-tasting, and the meatballs were flavorful and delicious. The Bun Cha Hanoi felt like an upgraded version of vermicelli dishes, with a tasty and flavorful soup on the side. Definitely a place we keep coming back to.

Overall 2.5 Stars So, have you ever rooted for team to win…read moreand the outcome is more disappointing than you expected? Well, this was the case for this restaurant. We all went in there with higher expectations and it failed. Ambiance: 3 Stars - Connected to the their Asian market, you enter on the left side of the market. Open space with 12 normal size tables that seat 2-4 and one round table with a capacity of 6. When busy, it can be loud however during our visit, it was not. The only person that was loud was a toddler and she was part of our group. We took turns with her by going through the market as we waited for the food. Service: 3.5 Stars - the highlight of the meal was our server. She was friendly, professional and knew the menu options. We asked different types of noodle options and she was able to answer them. Our drinks was on our table within 5 minutes of ordering and made recommendations from the menu. Food: 2-2.5 Stars - We, ALL, wanted the food to be better. All items were fresh and served hot, however the flavors were notably missing. 1. Shrimp w Garlic Sauce (spicy) with vegetables and served w a bowl of steamed rice. 2.5 Stars. - Well, it wasn't garlicky or spicy. I think the Garlic called in "sick" for this dish. The sauce was too sweet and chili peppers was more of a garnishment to the orange garlic sauce. However, the shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. 2. House Mein - 2 Stars. Again, lack of flavor in the sauce. The egg wheat noodles were al dente, as it should be, and the veggies were fresh. However, the shrimp, sliced chicken, and pork didn't soak up the flavors of the sauce. It was "meah". 3. Shredded Duck Lo Mein noodles 2.5 Stars. We thought this would be a rich dish due to the lovely texture of Duck meat and skin. However, the shredded Duck was too thin to enhance the noodle dish. Plus, it was a bit salty. 4. House Mei Fun 2.5 Stars - thin rice vermicelli noodles served w pork, shrimp, egg, sliced chicken, bean sprouts and beans. The soy and oyster sauce is the based for the ingredients to be mixed up. Overall this was best of dish of the 4 items we ordered. However, it was slightly salty. To enhance the dishes we added Hoisin and Sriracha for added flavors or to balance the sweetness or salty taste. To the cook's credit, both types of noodles (Lo Mein - thicker egg or wheat based and Mei Fun- thin rice vermicelli) were cooked perfectly. Now, will I come back again? Maybe. I would try other dish to confirm if other dishes are more flavorful.

This is the best Vietnamese food I've had in a very very long time. The pan fried X-wide rice noodles is to die for and the spicy lemongrass tofu can't be beat. My wife was not 100% crazy about the pho broth as she said that it tasted 1/2 + 1/2, have bone broth and half beef powder. That said they served plenty of fresh herbs - even sawtooth coulantro! Which is very Perishable so you don't see it often but taste like cilantro on steroids. Memphis is becoming a crowded field when it comes to Pho houses but this is one not to miss out on.
