I regret ever going through this law firm. Please save yourself the grief and money and do not use them. Going through a child custody hearing is stressful and emotional. I put my faith in this firm, they lied, and only cared about money, they do not care about there clients. If I could leave zero stars on this review I would. My initial contact with the attorney was free, he assured that I had a case and that if I made my payment right away they would start on the case immediately. After I made payment I was assigned to a callous attorney who had no people skills. She shared that our case was a long shot. I asked why that was not mentioned in my initial call and she said she didn't know but payment had already been processed no refunds. I was already 5K in so decided to continue. I had anxiety for months due to working with them. Crying daily as I always had to reach out for updates. I expected them to be experts in their trade and this was not the case. Responses to my questions where never clear, the only clear thing was that I would be charged for any and all questions. They lack professionalism and organization. Please if you are looking for an attorney you need someone who cares and who is going to fight for you. Someone who knows what they are doing. This firm lacks customer service, professionalism, empathy, sympathy, and overall common sense! My child custody case was lost due to this incompetent law firm. read more

Just feel like it was drug out when with the info I had given they knew I couldn't win my common law marriage case . If I would have had a one on one in person conversation I could have saved myself a lot of money . in the beginning I informed them I was a older lady living on a small social security . I feel it was drug out for them to charge me more money when they knew I didn't have leg to stand on . very friendly but guess I paid for that too. If you want to waste money, time, and resources please use this law firm. They make you feel like your nothing more but a dollar sign. One of the worst Law firms I've experienced going through a Divorce and Child's Custody battle. Initially Attorney Christopher Migliaccio agreed to go on the case but passed the case over to a a colleague who wasn't experienced at all. She was extremely irresponsible, incompetent and lacks understanding and active listening skills. Ultimately this resulted in over 30 grand spent , 1 year down the drain , still haven't seen my children on top of having to get a new lawyer. I wouldn't wish this treatment on anyone.... For the time , money, and emotional roller coater this firm put me through, I could of afforded the top lawyer I actually wanted if I knew they were going to be such phonies. My husband and I hired Warren and Migliaccio almost 5 years ago, to work out the details of a family court child custody case. 5 years.. this case should have taken 2 years maximum. We set up a payment plan with the attorney office and paid monthly. Every year we were hit with random "you have to pay this or we will drop you" thousands of dollars out of nowhere. So you know what they do.. 2 months before trial drop us for not being able to pay $8000 at the drop of a dime. Literally. We never missed a payment from our original payment plan even with the random $2000-5000 payments that "had to be paid or we will be dropped " Oh but it gets better, we are shit out of luck with no attorney, 2 months before final trial and they still have the audacity to say you can still make monthly payments to your account. You have got to be kidding right... No not kidding. These people are a joke. We went through 4 different attorneys with this firm and just to get fucked over and taken advantage of. Fast, friendly and professional experience. We used them for estate planning preparation and creating a will. We didn't have any complicated issues that should cause much pause, so ours was probably a fairly typical event; for that I can't speak to how they handle complex issues. Recently a friend of mine shared with me that she is having to file for Bankruptcy in Dallas. After a bad divorce, lots of family issues, she has decided that filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy is the way to go. I was dealing with some baby mama drama and was very stressed out. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. (The latina-looking one is pretty hot actually) After coming in Gary, (Gary Warren) talked to me about my situation and gave me some options. He is very professional and had my best interests at heart. Awesome guy and awesome firm. I will definitely be retaining Gary Warren as my attorney. TRASH SCAMMERS REFER TO TEXAS LAW BOARD ON GARY WARREN!!! One of the biggest mistakes in my life going with this group. SCAMMERS!!! Whoever have given these reviews MUST be related or friends with these folks because I didn't come NEAR that kinda experience!!! They were 48 minutes late to my 1st hearing, BLAMING rush hour traffic on a Wednesday morning heading into Dallas due to an accident, who'd have thought, right? Lack of preparation obviously at play here, I live in McKinney and still was 30 minutes early! I did this because it MATTERS to me, they were late because it DOESN'T MATTER to them. Then while stuck in traffic, they try to PREPARE FOR MY CASE!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Over 3 months to PREPARE and over $4,000 invested got me ON THE BAD SIDE OF THE JUDGE as she proceeded without him because she said if the repondant counsel and everyone else involved can make it on time then so should have my attorney. The judge said he should've left earlier and her court starts as scheduled!!!!! Extremely embarrassing, you dont wanna be there guys! I was promised Gary and got Johnathan, and had to demand to meet him.... Also, Mr. Warren has a red mark from the TEXAS BOARD ASSOCIATION and WILL BE GETTING ANOTHER ONE NOW THAT MY NEW LAWYER has a hold on things, and is quite bas a** btw at a fraction of these clowns price! Not a good law firm to hire. They are an 'over promise and under achiever' law firm. Attorney's treat you like a number and will not own your case. Attorneys are not accessible. You call them and expect to hear back in 3-4 days later. I spent over a year on my case and didn't do a damn thing to defend me but if a payment is late, you will hear many times, even from the principals. Will NOT recommend at all. read more

I can't recommend this law firm for family law matters. I retained them in the early stages of my divorce process. I was the petitioner in the case with the first filing made for court ordered child support. At the hearing for child support I found out my ex had counter filed for divorce, sent the documents to this firm two weeks prior since they were my attorney and no one at the firm informed me. I found out while I was on the stand being crossed examined at the child suport hearing. To add insult to this, when I received my statement from the firm a couple of weeks later they billed ME for the filing for divorce (charges for preparing the divorce paperwork and filing the forms with the court - things my ex's attorney clearly did and the court records confirmed it). I had already paid the retainer, so try getting a law firm to refund your money for services they did not perform. I promptly fired them and found another lawyer to take over my case. read more

I have visited so many attorneys for consultations, (for my specific QDRO issue) I've encountered attorneys who claimed to have experience with my specific legal issue, only to learn (After I'd paid a retainer & several hourly payments) that the only thing the attorneys had accomplished, was collecting my money. I have literally been handling this issue alone (not by choice) for over a year. I'd gotten to the point that I would literally feel ill the night before I had a consultation with a new attorney. I prayed that God would direct me to someone with Integrity, someone who would genuinely care, have my best interest in heart (instead of his pocket) and who would see me as a HUMAN who NEED HONEST help, instead of a dollar sign. I learned of Attorney Gary Warren. It was like a breath of fresh air, to speak with an attorney who was so transparent, compassionate and who took the time to patiently listen & ask questions, until he understood the specific issue. I informed Attorney Warren that I'd contacted a Pension Plan Professional (Mr. Harlan) who was willing to be a witness (for lack of a better word) if needed, for my QDRO issue. Attorney Warren was quite humble and didn't view this as a "negative" towards him. Attorney Warren even presented me with payment quotes/options that I can afford. I don't feel that a lot of attorneys care enough, to realized the devistation that's caused, when they do not represent their clients, the way they'd want to be represented. I thought with all of the stars that people were giving this firm it would be a good firm. I was clearly wrong. They had us do everything ourselves and said its to keep the cost low. We got our own issue taken care of without them. I paid them a retainer and they wanted all of the money before the attorney did any of the work. I fired the attorney and requested my money back. That was in December it is now January and they still are saying that its being processed. Not professional at all. Will never recommend this firm. read more
