Ms. Champlin, if left to pursue her art, by bringing the morning hours format on par with the nightly, and weekend import formats to the station, may just turn the Northern Woods airways into real 21st century 'premier radio station'. The presumed appearance is that the general manager would like to bring WXXS 102.3 into a format such as '92.7 wfuv/NY/Fordham University' - a unique radio style of upscale music, on the edge artists, alternative rock, pop, & folk genera, along with potential artist interviews, plus live in studio performance, into the Upper NH area. New Hampshire needs these types of cutting edge pioneers, as Ms. Champlin, and the N.E Broadcasting Corp.. One day, with a little antenna power boost, and a full WXXS broadcasting staff from NH, this will quite possibly will make WXXS 102.3 the premier and most listened to FM radio station in New England! WWLR 91.5 FM the" Impulse" is Lyndon State (LSC) college radio station…read more This station broadcasts currently from the top of Vail Hill in Lyndonville, VT with an output of 3,000 watts. It is not a strong signial. It broadcasts to all of Caledonia County, VT, and most of Coos County, NH. WWLR is a student run club and the play list is very fun and diverse as the kids running it. One DJ can play 2 hours of heavy Metal, the next will play Tori Amos, U2, Sex Pistols, Madonna, and so forth. Saturdays nights they play underground club music which is cool. When ever I am in the area or passing through on I-91 I always turn to the dial to 91.5 The station is off the air in the summer months.
