Worst residential service!!!! every single month I've being dealing with so several missed pick up for the past 8 months every week!!!!!!, nobody contact me, those useless employees can pick up all my neighbors but not ours container, but they will leave you a Christmas card asking for money. I have auto payment every month and payment always was made, so this is not a bill issue. Two years dealing with this No matter how many times I requested somebody to contact me from this crap company never happened. Having the same issue with regular and recycle pick up I have my footage where you can see they just passed my container like is not there but if I'm awake standing next to my container which is around 5 am they will see it and pick it up, what a coincidence. So freaking disappointment! as a client you will have 0 value!!! I you're moving to this area and this crap company will be serve you run!!!!!!!!! or just know they don't care and employees can decide which house they will pick it up or not even when you paid every single month. read more

When I signed up with them after moving into a new home I inquired about bulk pick up to get rid of all of our boxes. I was told that the agreement comes with one free pick up. So I stock piled the boxes in the garage to do it all in one shot and we were still waiting for deliveries. I call to schedule the pick up after a month. I was then told not only was the free pick up not offered but they do not even pick up cardboard. Now I have a garage full of boxes. Their only solution they came up with was to put them out in the recycling container. That will take me six months. I am going to have to rent a truck and find a recycling center. Currently looking for a new service. read more

This is a horrible company. Their rates are about 20% higher than the competition and the customer service is NON-existent. Getting someone on the phone is a chore and the website is absolutely a waste of time. I would literally carry the stuff to a landfill myself every week over using this company. Luckily I have an alternative where I live that is quite a bit cheaper and actually responds to customers in a timely manner. read more

I've been with them for a year, even through the shotty service, many many times I would have to have them come back and pick up my garbage because they would forget. I just notice a huge increase in their fee, and also noticed a 50 dollar charge. I call them and they said that every payment I made was 2 or 3 months behind, remember I'm on auto pay, and that the cancelled my service and reinstated it, without even letting me know, and increased my fees. NO REFUNDS. I looked over my invoices and they were not late and the just took 99.80 out of my account because they said the could because I gave them permission to take whatever they wanted when I signed up. This company is stealing from people, a total scam. Be aware if you're a customer. read more

If your looking for a company to give you the run around choose Waste management. I've had this service for a few months now and can't get them to pick up my recycling at all! I did a stupid thing by paying in advance now they have me by my metaphorical balls, I've been calling everyday and get told they will send someone by but never do. The last time they had their trash guys throw it all away. I spend a lot of time trying to make sure the right things get cleaned out and recycled, always have my cans out the night before and their special sticker on the can. I would highly recommend giving a different company a chance before ever paying for this trashy service. read more

Called Friday just before close. Just moved in to new house & former owners left a lot of trash at curb. Customer service was awesome as I signed up for new service. I was told I'd get pick up next day. Sadly we didn't & would've had to wait four days. I was put in for courtesy pick up, but honestly didn't expect it. But it happened. First, customer service is non-existent. Don't expect to get treated fairly as a human when calling them, ever. In fact, prepare yourself to be treated like the garbage they are picking up instead. Called to get service set up. (New customer) 1st rep that answered was rude, uneducated and condescending. No customer service skills WHATSOEVER..and it seemed they weren't looking/going to acquire any anytime soon. Called back got an even more ignorant rep. Both reps seemed very confident in the way they were allowed to talk to and treat customers without getting in trouble and so I quickly got a feeling of the culture at this company. Decided to try and reason with this one and give the company one more shot. Then they tell me about this erroneous $25 account "set-up fee" which is basically a fee they made up covering the cost of telling the driver to start picking up my garbage. Laughable. Nobody should pay this. It's ridiculous. When I asked what the fee was for the rep was even more ignorant to what the "fee" is for than they were in customer service. Said it is "not waste Management's fee, it's a city fee" (which is a flat out LIE) She even stated she's asked her manager "hundreds" of times to waive it and it's not possible. At this point to me it wasn't even about the fee anymore it was the principle. I would rather haul my own garbage to the dump than ever do business here. Anyways I let her do the song and dance of going to "ask" the "manager" even though I already could sense the outcome. She came back and very happily and snarkily stated they were not going to waive it. You could tell from the tone in her voice that she took so much pride in being snarky. This woman was literally ecstatic to be losing a potential customer. She was absolutely reveling in it. Avoid this company like the plague. At the end of the call I said I would be checking other companies and she actually said "Good luck with that" and chuckled. There are so many other companies out there that will treat you like a human being you don't need to subject yourself to this barrage of insults and ridiculousness. If i could give negative stars I would. When I eventually hung up and called a competitor, guess what? NO FEE. Not even a mention of it. Waste management treated me absolutely terribly and I wasn't even a customer yet. Deplorable. read more

The issue our neighborhood is experiencing has to do with the time in which they pick up our trash. This community is all wooden homes. When the truck comes through between 4:45-5:00AM, the sound goes through the walls and wakes everyone up. When calling a couple months ago I was informed that I was wrong, we are not on the schedule for the time I was claiming. When I informed the women I had photos and video's of the truck here at 4:45AM that had a big WM on the side of the truck, her tone sounded very annoyed. I also informed customer service that our entire HOA was complaining about the time, not just one house. After that, the pick-up time changed and we started seeing the trucks come through around 9. They have suddenly started picking up again at 4:50AM and I've had to place two more calls with no resolution. It's not that we aren't happy about them picking up the trash. When they wake you up at 5AM it really makes for a miserable day. read more
