I just moved to Corona in September 2015, Since I moved my trash has been picked up literally 3 or 4 time max. And they ONLY take 1 CART, this people don't do their job. My Gardner is not able to put the grass in the cart because the stupid trash men don't take it. Corona city needs to do something about this. I've had this service for 8 years and have had no problems. I've scheduled pickup for large items several times (we are allowed 2 a year) and my items were picked up when they said they would be picked up. Also, I have had 2 trash cans get damaged by the trucks and when I call to have them replaced, they are replaced within a week. The customer service has been friendly and helpful. I've paid my bill monthly online for years and had no problems. read more

Waste management is horrible in east vale! They were delayed 1 day because of the holidays and never picked up mine or our neighbors trash! All of our trash is on the street including the neighbors condoms and tampons! Of course they r closed on weekend so u can't tell them to pick up the trash! They never come when they r scheduled! ITo be honest I can't believe a company can flourish with such bad service. The drivers are so rude it is incomprehensible. Countless times we have had to call when they don't dump bin. Most recent this morning, pickup truck parked by bin in parking lot. Truck bed stuck out 2 to 3 feet. Waste truck driver sat in his truck and honked horn several minutes. Not knowing who the pickup belonged to I walked out from my office and rolled bin 3 feet for driver and pushed it back. In the days of customer service the drivers would have done this and been on their in half the time. Fees go up constantly and attitude gets worse I can only believe this is a reflection of upper management. Norco really needs to explore options read more

people beware ! i have been on the phone & online with these crooks & liars to have a couch & love seat picked up . we are entitled to 2 bulk pick ups a year . when i call , they say how sorry they are & promise to have somebody out here . I would have give zero stars but I didn't want everyone thinking I made a mistake. This company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered on a routine basis. Examples: called them at least 4 times with address corrections, they took an extra month delivering my new cans when I moved in (which were not new- "barely cleaned" would be a better term), and the last chapter of this story is a missed pickup this week. I called the day after to have them come out- they didn't- I called them again and spoke to a supervisor who assured me they would be out. Guess what? They didn't show. So basically they missed a whole week, blew me off twice, and pocketed free money from me. I pay my bill on time (auto pay) but they can't hold up their end of the deal? Or at least right the wrong when a problem arises? This is exactly why monopolies do not work. Horrible dishonest service. Wish there were other options. read more

I have been fighting with them all week to pick up my trash. Everyone says it will happen by the end of the day. No one calls me back when they say they will. I have talked to customer service, supervisors and managers and they all say the same thing. "We will send this to the management team and it will be taken care of by the end of the day." Well, here it is Friday. I have 5 days now of horse poop all over my back yard because they still have not emptied my trash barrels. What am I supposed to do now. I have a weeks of poop in the barrels and now a weeks worth in my back yard. I can't even get information to contact the Corporate Office. And I have a credit balance on my account!! Also, we have no way to get another company since they have a monopoly here. I have been a customer for almost 20 years and never had a problem until they purchased new trash trucks with a weak motor that won't pick up the heavier barrels. It's happen only a few times, but they call the route manager and he sends out the stronger trucks that can pick up anything. Well, not this time. They want me to "empty" the barrels to make them lighter. And where am I supposed to put the poop? On the street or horse path? These are the only barrels I have. They say "get another barrel." For free? Obviously not. Then you are putting out barrels 1/2 full. What's the point of having the bigger barrels if you can't fill them. Unacceptable. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

The standard If I could give this company zero stars I would. By far, the worst company I have ever dealt with. We just moved in to our new home and needed an extra trash pick-up. We had arranged for the pick-up on a Friday. Put the 10 bags out and 8pm Friday night the trash is still on our front curb. Of course the company is closed on the weekends so we had to bring in the 10 bags until Monday. Monday arrives and waste management assures us the trash will be picked up, so go ahead and put them back out again - guess what didn't happen. Tuesday arrives and waste management assures us the trash will be picked up, so go ahead and put them back out again - guess what didn't happen. Wednesday arrives and waste management assures us the trash will be picked up, so go ahead and put them back out again - guess what didn't happen. It's now promised for Thursday and there are still 10 bags of trash on our curb. My husband and I have called at least 5 times and spoken to numerous "supervisors" of which there is no record of the next day - hmmm strange, must just be a glitch not and indication of incompetence and then no accountability. If I could I'd fire the lot of them I would but problem is they have a monopoly so there is no incentive to perform even mediocre. read more

I would give a zero star . Third time no pickup of recycled trash this year . I saw the driver drive buy slow down look at it then drive away . Nothing spilling over lid closed and nothing that was not to be recycled in the container .Called them and was told the driver claims that he could not service and gave no reason .Again you pay for something and you expect to get what you paid for ,but not this company .Too bad there is not another company I could switch to , and if there were I would be long gone for Western Waste Management . Very disappointed. We moved in and they left trash all over our lawn then left our can turned over in the middle of the driveway then called the city on US for our basketball goal which all the neighborhood kids play with. Everyone in our neighborhood does the same thing. Oh but when I call and tell them their driver dumped trash on our lawn... they call the city on us. Very sad. Very sad. Fuck waste management.....They blocked my trash pick up for over a year now because of their mistake.....Fuck em.

Wow. I'm not sure where to begin this review. I'll try to make some points without being too wordy. Some months ago, WM missed a recycle pick up and a rented dumpster pick up. OK, it happens sometimes. People make mistakes. I know that I do.. But here is where the bad story starts. After calling WM to request a truck to come back, I was told that a truck would come by 6PM the next day, and if not, no later than noon the day after. It didn't happen. To make it worse, the driver LIED to dispatch, saying that he made the pick up. We had to wait a week for the regular pick up. OK, again, water under the bridge, even along with the LIE from the driver. Then, putting things into the galling range, I got a very happy, cheerful message from WM, TWO WEEKS later, asking if the truck came back and made good. (TWO WEEKS LATER!) Well it's all happening again, missed pick up, the same mindless communication from WM, and even a survey. Now, even the survey is partially incoherent. Yup, no surprise now. In it, I was asked if I "contacted the problem." Without being too sarcastic here, I need to say that "contacted the problem" had to have been written by someone with limited ability in communication skill, in ANY language. Since "contacted the problem" and the lack of meaning in the phrase, as it pertains to anyone's comments, and happening to still be part of the survey, my doubts about WM are pretty much made. In short, there is apathy and dumbness happening here, along with the poor performance. It's hard to ignore this stuff without talking. Girls in offices collecting paychecks for cheerful, bad performance, and drivers who lie, make me sound like a complaining old guy. I think I must be. As the girls in the offices keep faking it, it just seems to me that a reality check is the way to go here. Going an extra step or two for a customer is OK and doesn't take much work for that paycheck. Not lying is OK too. So, to sum things up, LYING, BAD COMMUNICATION SKILL, APATHY, AND FAKE CHEERFULNESS don't cut mustard for me. I'm hoping that I didn't make anyone cry. Had bulk removal from curbside for a sectional couch. The day of the removal the wedge piece was removed but the recliner section and main couch were still there. I called customer service and they reported they would not remove them because they were wet and too heavy for them to lift. Don't waste your time scheduling a curbside pickup. Either do it your self or call a local company for removal. read more

I have been trying for two weeks to have a couch and love seat picked up in Corona. Told single driver couldn't do it on their own and second week told two drivers will be sent. Then comes pick up day again and they sent one driver and he said he couldn't do it. So three free big haul pickups a year is a joke read more

In 5/13 I moved from one residence to another and paid my closing bill to Oak Grove Disposal. On 8/1/13, Waste management took over. They began to bill me for the closing bill of $43. I called every month from 12/13 to 6/14. Got the same run around EVERY TIME, was turned over to collections. I even provided them, at their request a copy of my title insurance (that proved home sale) and a receipt for the $43. Not good enough for WM. They then threatened to stop my garbage service. Keep in mind I continued to pay my bi-monthly garbage bill. After 6 months and extreme frustration. I just paid the bill. It just wasn't worth the ongoing fight. Got my August/September 2014 bill today. Guess what? A $5 late fee for a bill back in April 2014. I looked up on my bill pay and see I have payed every two months $76.20. I called again and was told they would turn in a ticket but as far as they are concerned I was late in April. I was looking at my bill pay and see I paid it. They simply don't care and then threaten with discontinued service or bill collection. This is so egregious as I don't have anywhere else to turn for garbage service. I am 52, have an 800+ credit score and have never dealt with a company that has customer service like this. It is a monopoly and we don't have anywhere else to go...... read more

I had a payment issue with WM where I made an over payment and I was trying to get them to reverse the payment and have the amount put back into my bank account. I called and explained what had happened and I was told they could reverse the payment but it would take 24-48 hours to process it. After checking my account a few days later, I found that the money had not been put back into my bank account so I had to call everyday after my initial call to verify if the money was reversed and every day I was told it was processed and would take 24-48 hours. I just called today and now I find out that the reversal was processed and now it's going to take 3-5 business days before I see it in back into my bank account. That means it will have taken WM a full 7 days to give me my money back but it only takes them one day to take my payment and process it. If I had the choice to go with another trash company to pick up my trash I definitely would change. WM is the worst when it comes to refunding any amount of money they owe you, but they are quick to take your money when they need it and charge late fees on top of it. They do not deserve more than 1 star. read more

Worst service ever! We moved to Riverside the beginning of April, they picked up for 2 weeks in a row on our normal day. Then last Tuesday there was a letter (that had been thrown on the ground in front of our house by the jerk driver) that they couldn't pick up because our address "wasn't on our route". Really? So I called them, they apologized and said they had our address listed wrong on the account and that they would pick up our trash the following day. No problem, but the next day no pick up. I called again, talked to a different person and they again apologized up and down and said they would be there the next day. Again, no pick up. I called again, talked to a supervisor who assured me my trash would get picked up the next day, which was now a Friday. Guess what? No pick up! So now it's Monday, and our normal pick up day is tomorrow. Trash is still in front of my house. We used to live in Corona and never had any problems with WM before. The drivers were always nice. This driver was a complete jerk to my husband, and I'm positive he's the reason why our trash is still there. Let's see if they actually pick it up tomorrow. Horrible service!! read more
