Clean surfaces, seating area in lobby, buzzed gate for security and also so you don't walk out on your work (please don't be this person) This location is cash only, but don't worry, they have an ATM available for use. While my friends were getting their tattoos I was chatting with Lourdes and I was impulsive and moved forward with getting a body piercing done. She made the procedure so smooth and painless- raved about her too well that we came back and two other friends got theirs. Artists that helped my friends: Diego and Edgar, thank you! On the last night of our trip we walked in, and within 5 minutes we're talking to an artist. Josue immediately walked us through how hand tattoos are different than other areas, and how it would need to be refilled more often. It didn't feel at all like he was pushing us to get the tattoo done there, and really just wanted us to be as informed as possible. My husband decided to do it and the entire thing took about 40 minutes. The entire time Josue was incredible, and freaking free handed straight lines!! My husband couldn't be happier and I'm super jealous and am considering getting a tattoo now on our text trip!! This place is 100% safe, clean, and these artists are exactly that - artists. We were walk-ins, so we completely understood that availability might be limited. The artists actually tried to accommodate us and work around each other's schedules, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, only one of us was able to get a tattoo during the visit. Throughout the entire time we were there, the receptionist was combative and had a noticeable attitude and sass when speaking with us. The way she communicated made the situation uncomfortable and unwelcoming from the start. We were trying to be patient and flexible, but the interaction at the front desk made the experience frustrating and ultimately led us to decide to leave. This situation likely could have been avoided if the receptionist had clearly communicated the artists' scheduled appointment times from the beginning so we could have set realistic expectations for our group. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due. The owner was very kind and receptive when we shared our feedback, which we really appreciated. Also, shout out to Lex for the one tattoo that was completed--the work was amazing and it turned out great. I hope the shop takes the feedback seriously because there are clearly talented artists there, but the customer experience at the front desk definitely needs improvement.

They told us it would be an hour to hour and a half wait and you must stay in the shop to keep your place in line. I suggest figuring out what you want before going or while you wait since you'll have time. I only say this because there were a group of girls who had no clue what they wanted when it was their turn, so they're wasting everyone's time trying to figure it out last second. They didn't have what I wanted exactly so the artist took two designs and kind of merged them. She was so excited but warned me because of the size, some of the details may not come out once it's healed. It came out amazing. I love how excited she was about it and how even though it was a small tattoo she but so much effort into it. Because there are a lot of tourists, plan ahead. Don't come right before closing. Make an appointment if you can or go early in the day.
