The nail tech had an earbud in and watched her phone while doing my nails. It was the most painful visit I've ever had. My nails were burning, even when not under the light. The the nail tech hit the skin on the side of my finger with the electric nail filer not once... but twice! The worst is that she didn't even look concerned. Save your money. read more

This is my first time at this salon. They did a really good job with my diabetic feet and legs. They use tub liners which is so much cleaner. I'm new to Aberdeen and happy to find a new place to get my pedicures. read more

Despite bad reviews I came in based off recommendations from friends in Westport. It's a typical strip mall location, kind of run down. The bathroom was off putting from the get go. Chemicals all over the place and a sign requesting you not even put toilet paper in the toilet! The lady that did my nails wasn't overly friendly, but they clearly have regulars that keep coming back, so is it just because I'm a newbie? Seems counterintuitive. Anywho, overall my shellac manicure turned out pretty good. I'm still surprised I paid $50 for it all because I wanted a design on two of my nails. read more

They're very fast and do a good job. But they talk mostly with each other in another language. So the customers just talk to each other. Good place to go if you need a nice pedicure in a hurry, $40 for a gel polish which can last 4-6 months. read more

My husband and I walked in, hoping to get manicures and were told they were "all booked up". That's a risk when you walk in. But here's the thing... they had no customers. Zero! One employee was literally sleeping on her table. WTF? We've been here 4 times and got decent service but today they flat out didn't want our money. read more

I came in today (1/27/22) to get my new nail tips redone because the place in Olympia that did them did an awful job. Tracy, at Wishkah Nails, did an amazing job!!! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she replicated it perfectly! She fixed my super thick, too long and lumpy nails with ease. I'm not one to be overly critical of the nail technicians and have a hard time being firm with them. I know I should be more assertive, but Tracy was a gem and I didn't have anything critical to say about what she did. My husband came with me a and got a cool pedi with fantastic nail designs. We are most definitely coming back to Aberdeen for our finger and toe nails. What a treat! read more

My first Yelp review ever, but am so disgusted. Got my nails done in Olympia during a "Girls day." Many years ago I had them filled/polished at Wishkah Nails. I had heard and read poor reviews lately, but it is somewhat expected for a service that is "our vision" that we want someone else to create. Called to schedule an appointment on a Friday. Called at 10, they fit me in at noon. Me and MANY others. On arrival, a voice from somewhere in the chaos told me to "wash and pick color," then told I picked color from wrong place, start again. Picked a color, waited 15 minutes past appointment time. The place was a madhouse with a lot of dirt and grime flying and multiple people waiting. Next I was told my color choice had to be the "whole" nail and cost $10 more. Again, fine. Finished and I felt they looked "okay" Within 24 hours, the color had peeled off of two nails and was started on others. Not chipped, but peeled off as if it didn't adhere to the acrylic. I work 50 miles away and work 40-50 hr weeks. Just had a chance to call to talk with them about the problem and scheduling a repair time. I was told that had "NEVER" happened before, which is funny because there are other reviews with the same issue.... When I asked to schedule for Saturday, my next day off and three days away, I was told that was a day past one week and I was just now saying there was a problem, that I would probably have to pay for a polish change and they couldn't get me in until the evening. THREE days from now and an eve appt. If I had walked in the door they'd have done better. Last she made sure to tell me that if they thought it was their issue, which it probably would not be, they would only replace it with the same color, NO CHANGE. I told her that was the color I wanted anyway and would see them Saturday evening. Now, I'm thinking I'd rather remove the nails than go back. read more

My friend and I made an appointment at 1:30, for each of us to get a pedicure. I specifically told them that there would be two of us and we wanted to be together. We arrived a few minutes early and while we were picking out our polish, two other women stormed in behind us stating that they had made an appointment for 1:30, together and plopped their asses in the two empty chairs side by side. They just kept repeating over and over that they had made an appointment at 1:30 for two pedicures. The lady who was running the salon, asked my friend and I to sit down to wait. I couldn't believe it! Then the salon manager (or owner) asked if one of us wanted to sit down in the empty chair that was left open. My friend and I made the decision to go elsewhere and I'm writing this review from my nail salon chair. My friend and I will never step foot in that place ever again. Not only did they overbook, but the manager didn't stand up for what was right. read more

Went in for a pedicure and when I walked in the door the front desk was packed with people paying. Then I hear someone yelling at me asking HOW CAN I HELP YOU repeatedly. I look around since I don't know where this voice is coming from. They tell me to wash my hands and pick a color. Then I walk over to the chair and hand the lady the basket of color swatches with the color I wanted. She then threw the basket of swatches on the floor and walked away. She came back and turned the water on and told me to soak my feet and wait i waited for like 10 minutes. The girl that did my toes was very nice and she did a good job. But I don't think I will ever come back unless I want to be yelled at. Awful customer service. read more

Went in to get a Mani Pedi done The lady that greeted me was not Very welcoming. No smile on her face. Just go wash your hands . while I was getting my nails done. The person that was doing my nails I accidentally got my skin with the grinder they used... she did not say she was sorry... you could tell that they did not clean the establishment every day... I definitely will not go back... I could tell when customers would leave they would start talking about them even though I couldn't understand what they were saying... Just their demeanor and let me know what they were saying back-and-forth to each other and laughing. read more

I was 15 minutes late for my appointment. Okay my bad. Then she yelled at me and said, "Too late!" She looked in her book and said, "3:00." She then yelled, "Dont be late!" Are you kidding me? My first trip in wasn't a good one, my acrylic nails were rough, the edges weren't clean, the shape was bad and the gel polish was soft. I called and she had me come in and somewhat fixed them. I gave them a second chance.....nails are peeling, the underside is a mess and they are crooked. To top it off I had a pedi, and she had a person that she was TRAINING start on my toes! She didn't know what she was doing, she didn't clean my toes under the nail, it was terrible. Then she snipped one of my cuticles. I will not be returning! read more

I moved earlier this year so I knew I was going to have to find a new nail place. Thankfully I got it right on my first try and found Chau!! I now go see her every two weeks so she can make my nails look awesome and pretty!! I have never been disappointed and have been going there for over 6 months now. I always call and make an appointment ahead of time, and I always have a great experience there. Attached are just a couple of nail designs I've had done. Thanks Chau!!! read more

I should NEVER receive a message from my little sister asking why people hate her for being in a wheelchair. My stepdad received a call to cancel my little sister's nail appointment without them making any attempt to reschedule...and in fact told him that people in wheelchairs don't need their nails done. Reasonable accommodations were not made, and this behavior in unacceptable! read more

They were a little rude and my cuticle was bleeding and cut. No apology or anything it was like it didn't even happen.. next time I will do my toes. I go here every time I get my nails done, unless I'm out of town and in desperate need. Tina and the crew are all so awesome. I'm shocked at the negative reviews because they have never been but nice to me and my friends. They have a wide variety of options for paints and designs, I like to get something different every time. I think people need to realize they aren't being rude or mean, they just have a language and cultural barrier that needs to be understood and respected. They providing a service, they don't deserve to be treat poorly. When you call and schedule an appointment and are wanting something outside of "basic" category (marble, designs, difficult shape) I recommend requesting Tina cause she is THE BEST! read more

3 stars might be pushing it a little bit this time but in the past it's usually a solid 3 stars. Today I needed a pedicure and I like my toes cut short. Well there short my big toe is cut really short the other toes are uneven and raged. Luckily it's still cold outside so I won't be wearing sandals. And the experience was also a little painful. I keep saying to myself I won't go back anymore and I'll just do to my favorite place in Olympia but I end up back there because it is one of the better options in town. I couldn't be more unhappy with their service! My friend and I made an appointment together and when they did our pedicures they sat us by each other but when they did our nails they sat us across the room from each other. We live an hour apart so this was kinda a big deal. Also they constantly were telling me what not to do and what to do with my nails and they used 2 different colors on my nails vs toes! And she wouldn't give me round tips or my natural nails with acriilic on top only no tips they said it wouldn't look right. There customer service was terrible and I thought at first they did great but then when I got home I saw my crooked nail and poorly painted bows and I paid $107 NEVER WILL I GO HERE AGAIN AND F NO I DONT RECOMMEND THEM!! read more

I've been here twice to get a french tip manicure. The first problem is that they speak very poor English and are difficult to communicate with. Secondly, very rude and poor customer service. Not at all the way to get repeat customers, a tip or a good review. If you hate what you do and you are disgusted by the people who come in for the service, maybe you should find another job. After being yelled at for being late, and then being yelled at again "Hey! Hey! Hey!" to get my attention when I was watching the girl next to me, instead of just kindly saying what she wanted to say...I decided I would not be leaving a tip. I think she was astonished, but sorry. I paid for the nails. A tip is for good customer service which you failed miserably to provide. I will not be going back. Ever. read more

Well they're nice enough people and their work is really good I have to say, but having said that they know that there are good and they charge you so much! it's incredible! I just found out that they charge you extra for longer Nails $3 extra and my nails are not that long!! Then one of the ladies getting a pedicure, she told me about this card, and that every time they come in you get marked on a card, use it 10X you get 10% off. Well nobody ever told me that?! that was like my third time there! And then when I asked to get it retroactive, she said no we can only give you two but you you should only get one! WTF!! read more

Great people, perfect acrylic nails, design and gel Polish. My only complaint was the use of previously used files, and bits.

Rushed pedicure that left my feet in pain and my nail polish was streaky and could se my nail underneath. Don't recommend

Every time I call for an appointment I am always informed to be on time. Never a please be on time. I have been on time for every appointment Then I am hung up on. Second to last time I went I was told to wait outside as they were running late. It was raining / there were no chairs outside / and the only place to stand under an awning was with a few homeless men making a drug deal. I said nothing that time although I waited a half hour. Today after receiving the same be on time message before being hung up on I was again exactly on time at 10;30 and told to wait outside. When I mentioned this was the second time this has happened I was told "I lie". I never lie. The manager went on a tirade about how this happens all the time as clients are always late. I stated I could only imagine but I was talking about me. I always say thank you after a service and I tip very well because I believe the services industry is hard. I asked how hard it would be to apologize that I had to wait as I am a regular customer of Tracy's and always on time. The manager stated she did not owe me a please or an apology and maybe I should find another salon. I asked if this was what she really wanted. She said yes. So be it / there are many nail salons. Thank you Tracy for your service and bright personality. I will miss you. read more

Every single time I go there they're rude to me. One time the girl yelled at me because I kept smudging my nail when I put it under the gel light. Which happened because she rushed me when she told me to put it in there. She was getting super impatient with me so I tried to hurry and ended up smudging my nail. Two girls in front of me turned around to see what she was yelling about. I've never been more embarrassed. I've never went in there and had a pleasant visit. I wish we had more of a selection around here. Just went there for a mani/pedi and the girl rushed me again putting my fingers in the light. She was very rough when she grabbed my hand over and over. I wish I could give them zero stars. If I were rude to them I could maybe see why they were rude to me but I try my hardest to remain nice and cheerful. I hate it there. But I still tip which I don't like about myself. Grrrr read more

Wishkah Nails - In love with this gel polish and how good they did - Nail Salons Near Me - Aberdeen, Washington

Worst experience with customer service I have ever had in any type of business. I had a lack of knowledge of what to ask for since I rarely get nails done and was scolded in front of everyone inside the entire store when I tried to explain that what they were doing wasn't what I wanted. Not really an experience I wanted to have a few days before my wedding. I asked for "white tips" thinking it meant the fake acrylic nails for a French manicure. I asked the lady there 3 times while filing my nails why she wasn't putting the white tips on... and she kept telling me they come later. When she started putting gel on my fingers, I stopped her and told her it wasn't what I wanted. After I was scolded by two woman about the difference in "fake nail and white tip" I apologized for the mistake and offered to pay the difference but I couldn't leave since my fiancé had already paid for me... then I was scolded again because there were other people in line waiting for "fake nail." I was told that I needed to wait 20 more minutes which I said was fine. 20 minutes of embarrassment!!! During that time, the customer next to me kept telling me they over reacted and how she could understand what I wanted and was sorry that they had treated me like that. FYI- just because you're speaking another language, your tone is understood along with you throwing nail polish in a basket in front of the customer in an aggravated way. Everyone in the store could see it. I felt sorry for the next lady that was being helped because she was still angry when she started the pedicure on her. A man there ended up doing a pretty good job on my nails in the end so if you do go there, make sure you get that guy. The ladies there ruined my entire opinion of the business. read more
