The room was freezing cold (the new remote-controlled heater was positioned high on the wall above the door and did not effectively heat the entire room). The breakfast was slightly below average quality for a seaside B&B; not what one would expect at this price. On the plus side, the landlord is friendly, chatty and interesting.

The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated, although there are a few of those old-fashioned touches (lace doilies etc). Unfortunately not all rooms have their own bathroom, so make sure you request one with. the breakfasts are very good too! The location is superb, just minutes from the beach, and a reasonable walk from town too. Highly recommended for older visitors to the area, perhaps not the place to bring young children though.
