I purchased two new tires to replace my worn-out tires. I was hoping that I would receive the same quality of service as I did with the previous owners. Lindsay answered all of my questions and was very thorough and professional in her answers. She promised to check the alignment and carefully discussed all of the possible costs involved. When I returned for the call, she told me that I did not need an alignment, so the price was less than what she originally quoted. The price she charged was fair, and the receipt was easily understood. She also assured me that if I had any problems with the tires that they would repair them for free. Trust, Loyalty, and Quality are something this business doesn't believe in. My sister was gifted a Mercedes-Benz from a family member who dealer maintained the Mercedes, then selected this place as his independent service shop throughout the life of the Mercedes. On February 26th, my sister and I towed her Mercedes to the shop to diagnose a Check Engine Light. I always go with her as I was a technician and understand cars in a way she doesn't, and so I can better explain what the symptoms were. I spoke with a gentleman whom I believe to be the owner's son. Everything went smoothly, we signed a release and waited for the call. We received a call describing the reason the check engine light was on and the part needed to remedy the situation. We approved the repair, which amounted to $460 -/+. On February 28th, my uncle who gifted the car received a call saying the car was ready, it was low on oil so he went ahead and added 2 quarts WITHOUT APPROVAL, then proceeded to ask my uncle "Who the hell is driving your car? The rear door is wrecked, and the mirror is missing." This is where things go downhill. First. Contact me or my sister (both of our information was given) as were the ones who dropped the car off and made it clear it was my sister's car before you added oil. You don't know what kind of oil or additives we use, if we had spare bottles, we could have supplied the shop with or if we had plans on changing the oil after the work was complete. This wouldn't have been an issue had we not been charged 60 bucks for the oil he topped our car up with. You don't know if there's a pre-planned budget for repairs, so adding 60 bucks for two quarts of oil could make or break the situation. I only use the best in my cars and my sisters. And I don't pay $60 bucks for two quarts. Second. Don't contact people not involved in the transaction. My uncle has stage 4 brain cancer and his little stunt of adding 2 quarts of oil at $60 a pop, calling him about a broken mirror and dented door (especially if you don't plan on fixing it), and telling my uncle he doesn't want to deal with my aunt crossed the line of professionalism and respect. Which caused my uncle to have subsequent bad days as he was trying to process a situation that had nothing to do with him. My sister and I arrived to pick the Mercedes up and informed the gentleman we weren't pleased or amused with the added charges without our authorization. He rudely told us the oil was low (despite no messages on the dash) and that was the only way he could test drive the car. Understandable, however, call us first. He then said, "By the way, your car doesn't go into park." My sister told him it did and proceeded to show him. She did it twice and he stormed off with an attitude. I can only imagine how many times he has $60 here and $150 there his customer. Proceed with caution. A day later, the check engine light is back on. Which means his diagnosis and repair didn't remedy the problem. Since we don't trust this establishment, we will look elsewhere. Stay safe, vigilant, and informed. I found Wise Tires based on the excellent Yelp reviews and the fact that it's very close to my house. One of my tires has been leaking air very slowly. I took it to the dealership where I bought the car and they said they looked at it and couldn't find anything wrong with it. So I thought the problem was more complicated and put off finding a new place / solution for a while. Finally I was tired of adding air to my tire every week so I took my car to Wise Tires. Lindsay (I think) greeted me as soon as I pulled up and told me they will take care of it. Since I live very close I went home to wait for her call. She called me 40 minutes later and told me they found the problem, patched it up and I can head on over. Once I got there my car was all ready to go and they charged me a VERY reasonable price. They saw to it right away, and double checked for leaks, punctures and a faulty valve however it ended up being that my tire was okay and just needed air adjustments with the other 3 tires as well. My Tesla tire had a large nail/screw in it and the air kept getting lower and lower. I immediately came on to Yelp and found this place with great reviews. I gave them a call and a very kind woman, who I believe is named Lindsey, answered the phone. She answered my question and gave honest pricing over the phone. I arrived in less than 5 minutes and was out of there within about 10-15 minutes. Lindsey (again, I really hope I am getting the name right because she is what made my visit an absolute pleasure) was very kind and had the best customer service skills I have experienced in quite some time. BUYER BEWARE!!! THIS IS NO LONGER THE ORIGINAL "WISE TIRE". THIS IS A NEW OWNER, RIDING ON THE OLD NAME AND ABUSING THE OLD REPUTATION AND REVIEWS. THEY PUT ME IN DANGER! I bought my tires with the original owners, Dan & Maggie. When I called and spoke with the new owner, 7Lindsey, she assured me that they would honor the former owner's service warranty. I told her that I just had the struts done and needed an alignment. She assured me they would honor that. When I called back to get an appointment with her, she verified to honor the policy and told me to come in. When I got there, she came out to look at my tires and told me one was worn. However, when I reminded her that I just had struts done and needed an alignment, she said I didn't need it. I was confused because she told me on the phone, they would do it as part of honoring the previous, Wise Tire customers and she saw I had one worn tire. She still refused to do anything for me and had the "technician" drive my car around block. I was even more confused because you can't judge alignment on driving it around the block on bumpy streets. I then realized they weren't honorable and didn't want to help me out as a complimentary service. When the tech came back, he said it was fine. I again pointed out that I just had the struts done and Lindsey pointed out that one of my tires was worn in a strange place. They both looked me in the eyes and told me everything was fine. The next day I went to a reputable tire place, that was highly recommended by my mechanic. They were shocked that I was allowed to drive off the property with the condition of my tires. Two were badly worn, with one being "extremely dangerous". In addition, my alignment was off in all positions (caster & camber). Really upset that my life was put in danger for not wanting to honor a warrantied alignment, that was discussed and confirmed by phone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
