I had took urgent care service and paid whole amount same time. After one week I got mail that I…read morehave pending balance to pay. I call billing department and also send proof of payment through email. After one week of this when I call for the status of my account, they told me your account is on hold and take one more day to final. When I called after two days they told me it takes 7-10 days to review your case. So when I paid already and they received proof of payment why they need more time to resolve the issue?

This review comments on both services: DocuTAP EMR Software: I rate the EMR software fairly high with "4 Stars". Our physicians readily learn the system and it is extremely flexible in its utility and use. The physician providers view it as one of the better EMR systems out there; especially in the Urgent Care environment. Kudos to their development and support team. DocuTAP RCS Billing Services: I rate their billing services at a "0 - 1 Star". We have had significant issues with claims being rejected for "Past Submission Date", patient and insurance carrier follow-up, E&M down-coding and CPT modifiers not being added in some cases. I believe that the staff is working hard, but one has to ask why we are having these problems. We have escalated the issues to their management with little to no resolution. I discussed the issues with their CEO Eric McDonald which was a fascinating discussion. One would expect some humility and a sincere gesture of let's fix these issues. Instead it was a discussion regarding lack of substance for material breach of contract and believe it or not a reprimand for lack of follow-up on our part when their management didn't respond to our concerns. Seems to me someone forgot who's the customer. As a senior executive for numerous medical companies in my career, I learned one lesson "culture always flows down from the top". Stay away from the RCS Billing Service; poor value for the money spent.
