Great tour. Lots of information and the 3D movie explaining everything was wonderful. Staff was nice and they would refill glasses if you wanted. We loved the Gruner Veltliner wine. read more

Thanks to a native Austrian and ex Benu GM I got introduced to Schmidl's very affordable but excellent Gruner. 2012 is a very young vintage but these wines drink well without age. Very crisp and fresh. slight sweetness, and acidity. Went very well with a super traditional Austrian cheese spatzle of the Bregenz region. Something for under $15US can be amazing...

Nigl makes a very versatile, easily drinkable one. Apparently they have a hotel and restaurant on their property too. Would be pretty cool to stay, eat and drink yourself into a stupor at this locale. However for now,Ill enjoy the wine with Corey Lee's excellent cuisine...
