I just have one word to describe this company. Awesome! I'be had electricians come out in the past, due half a job and charge me twice as much. This company came out and in no time diagnosed my problem and was able to repair it. The electrician went the extra mile and I sincerely appreciate it! I cannot praise Winston Electric enough...We hired them a couple years ago to install several light fixtures in our house and they did a fantastic job at a great price..they even had every screw horizontal which was appreciated by my perfectionist wife. Fast forward a couple of years and I went to install a USB outlet..No big deal but after a week the outlet wasn't working..I reinstall it and after I turned on the breaker, half of my outlets in my living room stopped working. In desperation, I call Jack Winston and he tells me he is currently out of state on vacation (actually in a restaurant waiting for breakfast to arrive) but can walk me through this "easy fix"...As requested, I send him pics of the outlet and wires and he tells me step by step how to fix it..That's it..Fixed in five minutes....He didn't have to take time away from his vacation like that..He could have called someone to come out and obviously make money on labor and service charge etc..This company and the family are the best people around...Exceptional customer service and always excellent work with Winston Electric..I will ALWAYS call them first. I had a ceiling fan on my vaulted ceiling (18ft up) that detached out of the ceiling box. I installed it 8 years ago...go figure. Anyways, it was hanging 18ft up by only the wires. This happened on a Friday afternoon at 4:30 pm (again, go figure). I called Winston Electric immediately after finding them on a Google search and talked to the owner Jack. He was very friendly and concerned about the danger of it falling. He came over immediately, even delaying his own plans for the evening to come and help! Took care of it in about 15 minutes. He was so nice, i invited him in and we chatted for another 45 mins! Price was extremely reasonable considering he made an "emergency" call. In fact the price was so reasonable and he was so friendly, i even gave him $20 tip. He will be the only person i'll call for any future needs. I'd highly recommend him! read more

Jack and his team replaced a ceiling fan (on cathedral ceiling) and 7 other lights in our home after an initial estimate. I used these reviews to find a local electrical contractor in my area and it led me to Winston Electric. I wanted to have my garage completely rewired correctly. Jack Winston returned my call and came out the same day to take a look. Having a mechanical background knowing just enough to be dangerous I knew that an outside opinion would simply confirm that my garage was a spaghetti mess that needed to be updated. I also had trepidations about my older style push button completely full 200 amp distribution panel that leads the entire house. After Jack pulled the panel cover and found the fried bat in the wiring I knew that the panel was priority one. We scheduled the job where Jack and his crew installed eight new outside lights and repaired a circuit to those lights. They worked eight hours removing the old panel, installing the new panel and mapping out the circuits to every room in a six bedroom house. They were meticulous and detail oriented in the entire job. This task was certainly not small and other contractors would shy away from a job like this but not this organization. They went above and beyond my own personal expectations and did the job right at a very fair price. Not bad for throwing an internet dart at a map. Because of Winston Electric's attention to detail, prompt reply, fair pricing, overall courtesy and friendliness there will be no other electrician working on my home. in a short time they will be here to rewire my garage in preparation for insulation, drywall and heat. read more
