By far the worst Wing Stop I've ever dealt with, been a few years since the last time I've been to this location and I was reminded why very quickly why I don't come hear despite it being the closest location to me, if you can take an extra 20 minutes to drive from this location to the Millbrae location or even the WestLake location I highly recommend it and have done it myself. Majority of the time the food at this location is over cooked and the service depending on who is working can be impossible to order from. But, I saw that they pulled my ticket, then walked away to do who knows what? One hour later at 7:44 PM I get a text message saying the Door Dash driver is arriving in 6 minutes. Ok... I call him and he says, "Oh, I cancelled the order". The manager gives me a cash refund even though I had swiped my card. She also refused to give me a receipt of my credit card swipe and the cash refund she gave me because in her words, "for what, you don't get one!" I had to call the san mateo cops and within seconds of their arrival, the officer walks out with a receipt! Wing stop this is the first time I've received bad customer service to this capacity. Not sure who's writing all of these fake 4 and 5 star reviews, but this is definitely the WORST Wingstop I've ever been to. The staff moves so slow I'm almost convinced they're moving backwards. I'd maybe be willing to blame it all on the amount of orders, but judging from the other reviews this seems to happen even when it's not busy. We put in an online order around 5:30, and were told it would be ready at 5:55. It's currently 7:29 and we are STILL waiting for all of our food to come out. It took about an hour and 15 minutes for half of our order to be ready, and when we told them the other half was missing they made it seem like it was our mistake! Absolutely ridiculous. And we aren't the only ones. There's about 20 other people who have all been waiting over an hour for their orders to be ready. And all the while the employees are chowing down on rolls while they're packing everyone's food with their buttery little hands. So unprofessional, not to mention COMPLETELY unsanitary. Thank god I've been to other Wingstops that are much more competent. If this had been my first experience here I honestly would never come back. Shared a 10 wing combo with a friend--got lemon pepper & Louisana rub. Comes with fries & a drink. The fries were a bit on the cold side, so I'm guessing they were not made to order. For those who complain that it takes a long time, the wings are made to order, so they will take 14 min. after you order. I remember being at the Alameda location, & some woman waiting around was getting all huffy because it was taking too long. They also have the fancy multi-option soda machine. Open til midnight.
