My…read moremom and I came in for what was supposed to be an early Mother's Day lunch, and from the moment we walked in, we felt completely ignored. There were only about five people sitting at the bar, no one on the floor, yet no one greeted us. I asked the bartender if it was okay for us to sit outside, and she said yes, then immediately turned back around and continued chatting with the people at the bar as if we weren't even there. We sat outside for about 10 minutes without anyone ever checking on us. I finally went back in to ask another server if we were still okay to sit outside, and she responded very rudely, like I was bothering her just by asking. After waiting even longer with no service, we decided to leave. I completely understand having a bad day or being overwhelmed but basic acknowledgment and kindness go a long way, especially in hospitality. It was really disappointing considering this was meant to be a special lunch with my mom. And it was our first time there. We will not be returning. Bummer.
