WAS a loyal customer until we noticed that the customer service was getting horrible. The hostesses are RUDE. Today we went in and it was semi busy but we noticed empty high tops for two near the front. The hostess sat us in the back right on top of the bar which was full and next to a party of 10 where I was basically sitting on the guys lap. I know all the tables were close but this was way too close. So I mentioned to the waitress if there was a high top in the front we can move to because we felt uncomfortable. She rolled her eyes to say "um well they're all close so I don't what to tell you." They ALWAYS do this. My husband has PTSD and can not be that close and all we wanted was another table. I told the waitress this and she said "I don't know I'm sorry but we don't have anything." In a nutshell, not only BAD customer service but blatantly ignored the fact I told you my husband has a disability. So you didn't accommodate. We walked out nevertheless. The food and beer are great but will not be back due to the customer service. Hostess are the first impression and they are the rudest . Wings Pizza N Things is WAY better than any chain wings restaurant you can find!! Not only is the staff extremely friendly, but the fries, salad, wings and pizza are all to die for and you definitely get your money's worth. Make sure to try the Texas Thai and Teriyaki- they're my personal favorites! Oh, and make sure to ask for extra ranch! I don't know what they put in their ranch, but it's amazingly good! read more

The food is pretty good here and they have a lot of TVs showing various sports, but I write this as I continue to wait for our food, it's been over an hour. They said that is typical of Tuesday nights when they have the $10 for 20 wings deal. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend coming on Tuesdays. I certainly won't be in the future. Or, they need to buy more fryers to meet the demand and then I would return! read more

The food is ok but the last time we were there (we ordered bone n wings) all 3 of us got sick and when my husband called to talk to the owner he refused to talk to him but the manager did say they would replace the order but who wants food from a place where you got food poisoning, so we haven't gone back and don't think we will . read more

We went here for the first time on a Thursday afternoon. We heard wonderful comments about this place from friends. It was pretty slow and quiet. Our server greeted us promptly and took care of us well. We ordered the lemon pepper wings and original buffalo The lemon pepper wings were greasy and had an after taste. The buffalo was okay. The wings came with a side of celery which was old and had black stuff on it. Gross. We also ordered a supreme pizza as well. It tasted like digiornos. The crust was chewy and did not taste or look hand made. Overall our server was nice but this would not be my go to place for wings or pizza. read more

The food is really good here. They recently expanded and you don't feel cramped. The service is poor. It was not busy on Father's Day however our waitress wasn't attentive. She seemed like she was disinterested in being there. We had to wait quite a bit longer for one of the plates. It's worth the food but not the service. read more

Service leaves much to be desired. So me and my friends went with our roller derby team to this place, we arrived and placed our order at least 20 mins before the derby team arrived. It took over an hour for us to get our food, and this was after the majority of the team arrived, ordered and still got their food before us. We asked three different waitresses about our food all three said they would "check on it" but never came back to tell us anything! When we finally left to pay we asked to talk to the manager who gave us a halfhearted apology and the excuse that they were short staffed. The derby team notified them that they would be coming at least a week in Advance so they shouldn't have been understaffed. We weren't even offered a discount or our beverages comped to make up for our experience. Additionally ever Tuesday like clockwork they are packed but they always seem to be short staffed on Tuesday's as well. So while i love the wings their service and management need some work. read more

The chicken was very rubbery. Some of the sauces were good, but it was so hard to chew the fatty chicken it made my food pretty inedible.

Just a small town girl now living in a big city without proper wings to enjoy. I lived for 20yrs+ in Belton/Temple Texas and this is the best wings I've ever had. Have been here on several occasions with husband or friends and have never been disappointed. After joining the Navy and moving to MD, I miss being able to come here often. The atmosphere is always lively and friendly. We've tried multiple items on their menu and have never regretted any of it. Their cheesy bacon fries are tender, super cheesy, a little on the greasy side to some, unhealthy but delicious. Best part is the big squeeze bottle they place on your table. Always chilled, best condiment with wings and fries. Love that it's not small packages cause otherwise you would have to keep requesting more. Their wings are always fried to perfection and the sauces are amazing. I love spicy and theirs is just the right amount of heat but still really juicy and crispy. Have yet to try their pizzas because I love their wings so much I always go back to them, even coming in saying I will try something else on their menu haha they're just that good. Their prices are cheap for the quality and quantity that you receive and their bar has a good selection. It does get really noisy with so many TV's playing constantly, especially game days but that just adds to the lively and sporty atmosphere. It does get really crowded and they could expand but then it might loose it's southern charm. Sadly most places that expand start lacking in quality. They have almost daily specials that are definitely worth giving a try. The owner has always been there whenever my husband and I go there. He's really nice, cares about his restaurant and his staff. I've seen him sitting at one of the bar tables with his wife the whole time we're there. A lot of times he's also helping around the restaurant, whether it's serving, or cleaning, there's no job that he doesn't seem to be involved with, even as the owner. That's an amazing quality in a manager, let alone a person. If you're ever driving through or live here, I'm telling you over and over again that you have to give this specific location a try. Best wings in the central Texas area. I just made myself hungry for some of their wings and I live 24hr+ away :( hopefully I'll be down soon Wings Pizza N Things....wait for me and don't you dare ever close! read more

My family stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and were VERY impressed with the food, the service and the restaurant. My husband and I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich which came on their homemade buns, my older son ordered the boneless chicken with no breading and my youngest ordered the grilled shrimp. We all passed around our plates because EVERYTHING we ordered was excellent and the portions were gigantic. We will definitely go again if we are in the area. Highly recommend! read more

Never been here before, this is my first time and I will definitely be back. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food....IS AMAZING. Me and my mom came to temple just to go shopping and then grab something to eat but this place caught our eye. We definitely recommend eating here. The wings are the best wings I have ever tasted in my life, particularly the Texas Thai flavored ones, and their hot wings are way hotter than any wings I've tried at other chain wing places. The staff is always friendly, and Tuesdays they have a 2 for $20 special which is an amazing deal. They have lots of Flat screen TVs if you like sports, decent beer prices, a salad bar, and trivia if your into that kind of thing. Wowww. I was in a hurry so I called ahead, 30 min, to pick up and carry home while warm. No complaints on the food- it is always good. The service SuCKS. Got in line to pay and stood at least 20 minutes hoping to pay and run. We all stood, waiting while one female ran the counter. She was on the phone constantly, slowly taking orders just in time to answer it again. I saw 6 employees float around, check the tv scores, etc.. While we waited.. I heard my food was ready.. And it sat for a good 15 minutes before I could pay! She then went to the next customer. I continued to wait.. She failed to tell me that I had to go to the next window to get my order. Ok... So I did.. Still being ignored.. Finally put my hand on the phone so it couldn't be answered again until I was outta there.. I don't want to go back if the service is that bad! read more

Felt like we were pushed into getting our bill settled quickly after eating. Shortly after that the server ASKED us for her tip so she could cash out. We still had almost half our game to watch.
