I added a star because customer service was really nice in trying to help us…read moreedit the photos to salvage them; however, we still ended up with essentially 2-3 printable photos (rather than 8+) due to the photographer's weird choices: 1. No flexibility. As mentioned, she arrived and set up during my baby's wake window. I did not get to choose her arrival time. She finished setting up at 10 am and the wake window ends around 10:45. Instead of asking about my baby and arranging the shoot around her, she attempted to get her to sleep well before she was ready...what would have made sense was to shoot our family photos first, while baby was awake. And happy. Instead, she stuck with her plan to do them at the end, after my baby had been crying and upset for 2 hours. You can tell in the photos. 2. I really wanted a photo in the black lace onesie. For some reason, the photogrpaher kept taking her diaper off and commenting that she kept peeing (duh). I suggested just leaving the diaper on and covering her diaper area with the blanket (as in several other photo poses you see on the website). Instead, she stuffed the entire blanket into the onesie to cover my daughter's diaper. The photos from this outfit ended up looking like she was a stuffed sausage. (This outfit and the crown one were the only outfits I was truly interested in initially). 3. In order to move my daughter, she kept pulling her forward so her face dragged along the set... at least half of her photos had my baby's face smooshed into the fabric. The editors did their best in trying to salvage the pics, but they mostly ended up looking very over-edited and unnatural, or they were unable to change much (as in the case of her smashed face). I would still not recommend this service under any circumstances, despite customer service's attempts. They also asked me to remove my negative review, but that wouldn't be representative of our experience.

Up here in the PNW, my husband and I were enchanted by the wonderful pictures she took. We knew she needed to be our photographer when we tied the knot! The entire booking process was very easy, and Diana Bello Studios did a great job immediately responding to answer any questions we had. I really enjoyed the packet she gave us with lots of info on wedding pictures, and that it had tips for how to get the best image. The page that let you check off which pictures you were really hoping to get (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc) was helpful, and Diana was very open to all the other shots I wanted besides what she was envisioning :) The staff at Diana Bello Studio are all courteous, funny, and very friendly. we were treated with nothing but respect and familiarity the entire time. While I'm sad that there's so much distance now (my husband and I may have to find someone else for Christmas/first anniversary photos), I am excited that she will be sharing her gifts with another part of the world! He never lost momentum, stayed energetic throughout the entire event. He's very creative. Through our multiple photoshoots, I felt that he likes more natural pictures. He will occasionally tell you how to pose if you get stuck, but he likes the organic energy to flow between the couples, and captures the mood/vibe of that moment. I will say, he is a very punctual and type A. He likes to stay organized and on schedule. At times I felt rushed, but I can't blame him for wanting to do an excellent job. I guess if he didn't stick to the schedule, we wouldn't have gotten some of the great pictures that we have. He is very quick to respond and answers all questions.
