The breakfast was a bit of a miss while the lunch was definitely a hit. I didn't care too much for any of the scrambles and breakfast platters at all. It was mushy and plain even with the salsa and catsup. On the other hand, the specialty burgers were pretty good, especially the Deluxe CBO and Pollo Tocino Crispy. We also tried a Mexican Caramel Frap, which was overly sweet. If there's anything I'd say you must try at McDonald's in Mexico, it's the McPatatas con Queso and Pay de Queso. Do you see the pattern of how obsessed I am about cheese? The mcpatatas are pretty typical potato wedges with a nacho cheese sauce that was simple, yet delicious. But it was the pay de queso or cheese pie that I was absolutely in love with. The pie crust was super crispy while filled with gooey cheese that was on the savory side. I could eat one of these every single day for the rest of my life --dead serious. BEST MCDONALD'S PIE I HAVE HAD! (even better than the taro pie in Hawaii and that was unbelievably amazing too).

But third time was the charm--we finally got the third kiosk to work, places our orders and it didn't take terribly long to get our treats. My husband had a chocolate sundae and my daughter and I split an M&M McFlurry. They hit the spot! The place was bright and clean, and full of patrons. My second time in 4 years I have gotten food poisoning from this McDonalds. Have never had any…read moreproblem from any other McD's I have been too. The big Mac tasted off from the normal Big Macs I have. Don't know if the meat was rancid or the sauce over aged from not rotating product on deliveries. One has to look into it as these are high volume operations. My best guess is new product deliveries are being placed in front of older product and not being properly rotated until the get to the bottom of the heap and into old stuff. The only other suspicion would be sanitation is very poorly handled and are having crossover contamination is happening. This is not good when as from both my episodes with this unit is horrible with major nausea and dry heaves for the next 24 hours.
