I had high expectations of a new wing place since my favorite one closes due to Covid (presumably). Lots of sauces and we tried bone in North Carolina BBQ (more like honey BBQ as we've had North Carolina BBQ and that ain't it), teriyaki (good), garlic Parmesan (not enough of either garlic or Parmesan), Cajun fries (really good), and garlic Parmesan fries (really good). Friendly and courteous staff. But we won't be back. The wings are crispy on the outside (yay!) but drier than heck. You can't take it off in one bite, or two, maybe three. I wanted so badly to like this place to have a second option for wings. My order took 45 mins to make. When I first opened the box, they smelled a bit strange. I attempted to eat one of the lemon pepper and there was no flavor on the wings. Something was off and after smelling the wings, they smelled like bad meat. I threw the entire box away and had a stomachache later that evening. The entire crew seemed unenthusiastic. They were rushing orders. French fries were good. Ordered a 20 piece with garlic Parmesan fries. 10 hot AF and 10 Buffalo. My wife asked them to please separate them because her face tends to swell with spicy, and she likes hers extra crunchy. Was told it wasn't a problem at all! We get home and they put them all in the same box there was no division between the two flavors. The couldn't tell them apart because they look the same and the buffalo were not crunchy. We called back for some assistance and he was no help and was very rude. He said hold the box up to the light one is lighter than the other. I told him we can't tell the difference they are piled on top of each other. He kept repeating what do you not understand one is lighter than the other. First of all that's not how you talk to a customer. I asked him why the hottest wings they have are in a box with other wings. That doesn't even make sense he said that's just how we do it. So I again repeated how can we tell the difference my wife has already eaten one that is spicy and her lips and face are swelling he said again I am telling you they are different colors. I told him and I am saying we can't tell the difference so then he rudely responded what do you want me to do about it. As a manager you should never respond that way to a customer. I wanted so badly to love this place and I hate to write this review because I wanted to support this black owned business and I love wings. I also drove 25 minutes to try this place out and I was very disappointed in the customer service. I've worked in the restaurant industry!! Customer service is the number one priority! We ordered for takeout the other day and will be sure to do so again. We ordered different flavors of traditional wings fried hard (Buffalo, garlic parmesan, sweet chili and Cajun) and all were good. The chicken slider with the awesome sauce was our favorite item. Fries were also good. You need to order sides of ranch as it doesn't come with and the spicy ranch is good, but it's a Buffalo ranch, not jalapeño ranch like other restaurants usually serve. I gave raving reviews 3 months ago and told my friends to try them. Everything I ordered was outstanding!! Unfortunately I cannot say the same for today's visit. It was a last minute decision so I didn't order online. I ordered in store and waited 30 minutes for 2 cold sliders (bread and chicken cold to the touch) and garlic Parmesan fries that had very little seasoning. Oh and 1 of the sliders had only a sliver of chicken on it. I had to say something because 30 minutes is a long time for cold food. My order was remade. The bun was still cold which made it hard. The chicken was warmer but overcooked. The fries still not flavorful. I'm so disappointed especially since I had been craving it. While I was there, another customer placed an online order 45 minutes earlier and they couldn't find it...hope it turned out well for her. We tried it a couple weeks ago and although we ordered online and then waited another 30 minutes when we got there we figured we'd give it another try since the food was good. After ordering again tonight waiting the 45 minutes to go pick it up and then waiting another 45 minutes it's definitely not worth it. Who takes an hour and 45 minutes to make an order of wings? I don't even do reviews its just not my cup of tea. I made a review page to express my displeasure of this establisment If I don't like a place I will simply wont return but this takes the cake. I won't let this place steal another consumers hard earned dollars. I was recommended to go here by my neighbors son who used work here. I visited the location on yesterday evening and what a train wreck. My order took forever, the guy I assume was a manager I don't know for sure the guy did not have a uniform on but he was older so I assumed he was a supervisor took my order wrong then tried to argue and tell me what i ordered. Didnt even offer to get things squared away. We planned to eat in but my wife said the tables were not clean enough. COVID 19 is still alive people and everyone had their mask below their nose.
