***Best of the Best***…read more Oh my gosh, I happened upon this local photographer and couldn't be more pleased! I saw her super cute portfolio and was in love. We were in a bind just before the holidays, and Sarah made time to squeeze us in. Her pricing was great, especially compared to other area photographers, and she was local. All bonuses in selecting a photographer. Once I met Sarah, I quickly realized that she was warm, friendly and humorous with us and our kids. Totally needed for family photos, especially if you want some photos with laughter and real life emotion. In advance, she asked us specifically what we were looking for, and on the day of the event, she was prepared with a few props (although I also brought some of my own), and she whipped it all together for a way better plan than I'd imagined. I wanted some natural setting photos, not super posed. And she got us laughing, and captured the moment. She even had some creative poses that turned out CRAZY cute. Those turned out to be my favorites. And all her photos, have become my most treasured family photography yet. She comes armed with some nice photography equipment (i'm no expert), but the lenses definitely looked pretty spectacular. When photographing us, she maneuvered quickly to capture just about every angle, and every photo came out ridiculously crisp with FABULOUS lighting, and even some delicious bokeh. We went to her, but she's mobile and will come to the location of your choice. I can't imagine a much better setting though, than her neighborhood around Bear Creek Park. Fall photos come out great with tons of leaves, and changing colors. Spring and Summer are green as green can be. All perfect for some gorgeous outdoor photos. I usually hate myself in photos, but thank goodness for Photoshop, as she did some very natural photo editing that made the photos absolute perfection. Her edited photos were super speedy in reaching my email inbox. She leverages a secure online system to provide me access to download my high resolution photos. Easy peasy! And without even requesting, she sent me a few goodies for the following holiday, to use in social media. Seriously, could she be more awesome? Who does this? Love her! When we moved here, I was totally overwhelmed with finding the right family photographer. Thankfully I found Sarah, and and from here on out, she's officially our family photographer. Her business and photography matches my style and my budget, and the end product will always be gorgeous, lasting, photo memories of my most precious people.

I had a lot of hope from Melissa and her team, but my daughter's first birthday pictures were quite disappointing. I liked Melissa as a person but I didn't get what I had imagined in the pictures. Pictures were edited very poorly, moments weren't captured well, and we received quite a few pictures that were blurry. When you pay certain amount of money for photography, you expect the quality too. I am just starting to create an album for my daughter's birthday (which was in July) and I am even more disappointed than I was when I first received the photos back in July. I literally am editing every picture I have chosen for the album because either the lighting is off or cropping is done poorly or the quality is just overall mediocre. I imagine Melissa probably takes great portrait pictures (which she did a decent job with for my daughter's pictures) but not sure about active eventful photos.

In a smaller more intimate setting, you are likely to find Lindsey playing acoustic, while a larger or outdoor event might call for an electric set up. You may only need 30 minutes of music before an event or during an intermission to fill the halls and venue with a little mood. On the other hand, you may need a couple hours of music for a longer event, fitting perfectly in to the background. An electric set up might be the best for this. Music will vary per event, but will be developed from a repertoire of rock and pop favorites from different decades, folk and acoustic favorites, some classical flare, folk fiddle tunes of various styles, themes and movies, and even video game and anime music! For some events, Lindsey will play seated and off to the side, while others she might be standing with her music, closer to the event attendees to provide a more interactive stroll feel. Finding the best plan for your event is key. You plan the party, Lindsey will handle the background music.
