Now, someone might complain that's harsh considering the beer choices here, but I maintain that when it comes to craft beer, the selection is more limited here than any other ABC location. ABC typically has far less variety than a Total Wine, but this store has rearranged things and essentially gutted their beer shelves even more than it was before. I went looking for a special beer that I could buy up to 9 units on their website directly from this store, yet when I asked the grumpy worker for help, he said they don't have it. He didn't have an explanation for why I could buy 9 on their website and I'm not sure he even knew what I was looking for, as he kept thinking the brewery was the name of the beer. In the past when I've been here (and not needed help), you get someone asking if you need help every 3 minutes. Go figure. Liquor store first, wine store second, beer store last.

However, they also have a very poor selection of beer in general. Beer staples such as Miller High Life or Genuine Draft or even Bud Light Platinum. Save yourself a separate trip and if you shop at Publix, buy your refreshments there! I have made a number of trips to ABC after shopping at Publix and regretted it because they did not have what I am looking for. So back to Publix. It is a shame because the store staff is pretty good but inventory going down hill!

I've been here a few times to pick up 'seasonal' beers for my husband as a gift (i'm a wine person) and it seems every time I ask a staff member a question about something that isn't well known to EVERYONE (like how often do you re-stock your Guinness, or what's better than Corona?) the answer is terrible. I asked a staff member what beer (BEER.) they would suggest I try cooking my king crab in. Mind you, again, I said beer. I'm in a liquor store. I'd assume these staff members know what they're talking about. Homegirl straight up tells me 'Smirnoff Ice, maybe apple?' THE FUCK? Bye, Felicia. You should find another job, and maybe know the difference between malt liquor and actual beer.

I don't shop often but when I do, I'm usually looking for something new and different. I've had the opportunity to talk to quite a few people that work here, and every one of them has been helpful in finding me something based on what my interests are at the time. I'm at a point in my life where I do enjoy some good bourbon and like trying different ones. I found a couple that I really fancy that they have good pricing on, but I'm always willing to try something else. I have probably bought from every section of the store at some point over the years and they do have quite a wide selection to choose from. The store is very well lit, and there are accessible spaces near the entrance, which is also accessible here. As well as all the alcohol and related products available they also have a really nice humidor here. I'm no longer allowed to have a cigar, but I can't appreciate that. They do have some good ones available. If you're looking for something to entertain or for pretty much any other reason, ABC is always a good place to shop. Just a reference, they have quite a few of the cool bottles that are released by various brands available. If wine is your preference, they have an excellent selection with really good prices.

I noticed this Publix Liquor Store was close by so I stopped in to stock up on vodka and also to grab a six-pack of ginger beer for the Moscow Mules I was planning to jump on as soon as I parked the Fiat at the campground. This store as well as the Publix's grocery store next door seems to be fairly new to the area so I'm guessing this is why it wasn't listed or reviewed on YELP prior to this one. I was the only customer during my short visit here, the layout is rather simple and it took me no time to find everything I needed, the lone employee was stocking the shelves when I entered and only stopped to check me out. She was very polite and double bagged my liquor and made sure the handles were all aligned to ensure I had no chance of dropping it while walking through the parking lot back to my car. I can't say for sure if the prices are in-line with the ABC stores but at this point it really didn't matter, I wasn't here to restock the liquor cabinet...
