the apartments are spacious and big. compared to others in town, it's a good value. they have a gym, pool, and other amenities. on a third floor apt, I can listen to the compensators drive their hot rods and trucks up and down the nearby roads day and night. the noise isn't too bad, but it is continuous. the water pressure is good. the porches on second and third floors have bird nets to keep pigeons and doves from roosting, though they roost on the roofs of the building. as of 4/2024, they have been sold and have new owners. read more

The absolute worse place I have ever lived. I complained to the manager that the maintenance crew came into my apartment and my downstairs neighbors apartment without our knowledge and locked my girlfriend out of our apartment.she never apologized and tried to get me fired from my job because it was a corporate rental. I have lived all over the country with my job and have never seen or even heard of anything like this not to mention the apartment was falling apart at the seams and you can literally hear everything the neighbors are doing. It was a nightmare there are great places to live in Hobbs and I am currently in one and have had no problems at all. read more

Decent but expensive apartment in the middle of nowhere, and major issues with management. 1.) Maintenance takes forever. They didn't give us our fob keys for 2-3 months, which is highly inconvenient. We had to rush out of work before 6pm so we could use the gym. Three months before I left there, the wifi in the clubhouse was not working. I reported it several times, and was still not fixed even after I left Hobbs. 2.) Management takes forever to resolve issues. The manager took a long time to fix the late charges in our account. They were giving us late charges when we pay our rent 2 weeks in advance!!! She was only able to take care of it after 6 months. Somebody is clearly not doing their job, even though we go to their office every month to clear up this issue! 3.) They haven't returned our security deposit. We moved out of there on the 1st day of September. It's the end of October already, and they haven't given our security deposit back. That security deposit is $915!!!!! That's a lot of money. First of all, I do not understand why their security deposit is that huge. It ranges from $150-$300 in other states, but they can impose $915 in New Mexico, which is the same amount as your monthly rent. We've been calling them almost every week since September, and they haven't returned our security deposit. They had to e-mail their corporate headquarters in Kansas to get info about it. A few weeks ago, they told us that the check is on the way, but we never received it. Now they're giving us attitude when we're asking what happened to the check. They even told me they changed managers again. How many times do you change your management staff? It changed 2-3 times during my one year of stay there. I just feel like they're lying, and they simply don't want to return the security deposit. 4.) They left our apartment open and dirty during one of their maintenance check- ups. We got a note on my door a day before that Windscape is going to do routine maintenance in the apartments, and replace the air conditioner filters. During the day of maintenance, I was surprised to come home and see that our front door was open. I thought somebody broke into our apartment. I had a sigh of relief when our TV and computers are still there. Then I went to the laundry room where the AC/heater is, and there was dirt everywhere from AC filter, and they just left the old AC filter there. I went to the manager, but all she did was tell me that they're going to take out the old filter. I told her my main complaint was that her staff did not care about the security of our place, and I proceeded to say that I will sue her, her staff and her office if anything gets stolen next time. Then she finally noticed that I'm mad. Her maintenance staff came to the apartment right after to apologize, but they should not have left our apartment open in the first place. My advice is: Just stay away from Hobbs, NM. Go live in Texas instead!!! Besides having nothing to do in Hobbs, people are not nice, and most people are lazy. Just because there's not a lot of people to hire doesn't mean you can slack off in your job. read more

These apartments are ok, but I do not recommend them. First off they are SUPER expensive, for a what you pay for a one bedroom you could be paying for a 2 bedroom somewhere else or even a monthly house payment. The construction of these apartments are terrible. The tiles and floorings are not even. The walls aren't straight. There are spots on the walls where they didn't even out the paint so there is just like globs here and there. The hardware such as door knobs, mini blinds and etc are cheap and break constantly . If you have children or pets DO NOT rent these apartments. They are pet friendly but the pet deposit is so expensive and there is a 99% your not gonna get any of your deposits back. The kitchen is an ok size for an apartment but there isn't a lot of counter or cabinet space. The laundry room is an ok size, it has a full size washer and dryer and a shelf above for your detergent and things, but that's really the only "pantry" or shelving to have to also store more food. The bath is is a good size, although if you or your spouse, roommate etc is over 6" it's difficult to get in and out of the shower. There is storage under the sink but beware the leaky pipes. If the maintenance guys are scheduled to do a routine check or whatever it may be and they knock one time and you don't answer they just barge in your apartment. My husband was in the process of walking to the door after the first knock and they decided to to barge In. They allow the bug sprayers to also walk in whenever they are scheduled, so make sure you are awake right at 8am because you won't know when they will just walk in if you don't hear the very first knock. It is VERY rude, and irritating and they have NO respect for their tenants privacy. They let you know what's going on my a flyer taped to your front door, and if your like us and park in the parking lot where your backdoor is, then you and any one that is friends and family know to use your backdoor so the front door is just a waste and is NEVER used, so you never receive the flyers unless they knock on your door as there taping them, but again one light knock is not enough if ur tv is on or busy cleaning and not in the living room. They also take FORVER to repair anything. Save your money and find a better place to live in. read more

This is a prime example of how screwed up corporate America is in this country. A 5 yr tenant asked to move into a 2 bedroom from a 1 bedroom in Oct 28, they said no he had to wait until his lease was up the end of Jan. This is opportunity to make more money in rent, have another tenant and sign a longer lease and they could not accommodate him. The corporate office was rude and very unprofessional. I told them, if you own something, you basically can do whatever you want. No wonder, the complex is half empty, no one cares!!!! I feel sorry for the folks that have to live at this facility. read more
