Let me tell you something. There are businesses you can trust to deliver exactly what you expect…read more Grenn Hammer is one of those businesses. My son had his roof torn up in one of the recent storms. Micah Shelton at Green Hammer was so very accommodating and honest. I found out he worked as an cat claims adjuster for a large insurance company for like 20 years. He knows the insurance side of things and is a helluva roofing contractor. He went above and beyond for my son and could NOT be happier. I would recommend Green Hammer to everyone I know. Matt G Bossier City

I really can't say enough good things about dealing with Green Hammer and namely Tyler DuBois. Our…read morerelationship has been what everyone hopes theirs will be with a contractor. Tyler has been completely trustworthy and transparent. There has been no 'gotcha's' or surprises. The quote was complete and thorough. We had a single change order and the resulting price change was very fair. He understood what we wanted and made suggestions which we implemented and appreciated. The quality of the finished product is superb. The home inspector even commented on "what a good job the contractor did". As somewhat of a backstory, the house had been a rental and, for reasons unknown, the renters completely ruined the house: holes in every wall and door; broken windows and blinds and more. Every window and interior door required replacement. That was then; now it is beautiful and we have an offer for more than our asking price. This is due in no small part to my wife's design choices and Green Hammer's personnel taking such pride in their workmanship. Thanks!

I have never had a reason to write a review on any company until now…read more A + Roofing was the first company I contacted when I was in need of a new roof. The quote was very reasonable and I was invited to get other estimates. After the other estimates, A+ was still the lowest. The finished product was the most impressive part. It took less than half a day. My roof was stripped down, new tar paper was nailed down. The roofers moved my turrets for maximum ventilation. Replaced them with new turrets, new vents everywhere. A new valley. My yard was completely clean when they left. Honestly, it looked better than it did when they arrived. Chris, the owner, walked me through the process. It was painless. He answered all of my questions, and there were a lot of questions. He arrived during the job to inspect the work and followed up with me the next day and reviewed the final product. A+ is a great company with wonderful workers. They should be your first choice.

Hargrove Roofing replaced my roof, but during the project a roofing nail punctured an HVAC…read morerefrigerant line in my attic. What should have been a straightforward customer-service issue ultimately turned into a lengthy legal dispute. My primary concern was not the roof installation itself, but how the risk was communicated and how the situation was handled after the damage occurred. The sales representative reviewed the proposal and project details but did not review the Terms and Conditions with me or discuss the provision stating that roofing nails may penetrate the roof decking and enter the attic. Had that specific risk been clearly discussed, I would have asked additional questions about the location of attic utilities before work began. Hargrove made a settlement offer before filing suit and maintained that position throughout the dispute. My subsequent settlement proposals were rejected, and the matter ultimately resolved on terms very close to Hargrove's original demand. As a result, a problem that began with a damaged HVAC line developed into months of litigation, attorney fees, court costs, and settlement discussions. I paid to repair the HVAC damage and then spent almost a year dealing with a dispute that ultimately consumed far more time, stress, and money than the original problem ever should have. Looking back, I believe a reasonable compromise at the outset would have been a better outcome for everyone involved. One thing I found particularly ironic was a sign displayed in Hargrove's office that read, "COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE." In my experience, that message did not match what occurred. The specific risk that roofing nails could damage attic utilities was never clearly communicated before work began, and the lack of meaningful communication contributed significantly to the dispute that followed. The case has now been formally resolved and the judgment satisfied. In my view, the central issue was never the roof itself. It was the failure to clearly communicate a known risk before work began and the inability of the parties to reach a practical resolution after the damage occurred. Prospective customers should carefully read every page of the contract, including the Terms and Conditions, and ask specific questions about the risk of damage to HVAC lines, plumbing, electrical wiring, or other utilities located near the roof decking before signing. I wish I had done so. Based on my experience, I would not use Hargrove Roofing again.
