Great service and good family owned business. My Cooper tires are excellent, and I'll go back for needed service or future tire purchases.

Friendly staff. Kinda slow sometimes. They have a little trouble listening too and following instructions so be firm.

I had a pesky leak on my left front tire that only got worse the more I prolonged it. At first I…read morewas able to put air in the tire and it would last for around 3-4 days but now it was only good for hours before my tire would go flat. To make matters worse all four of these tires are basically new and less than 30 days old! Anyway, this whole thing was driving me nuts, so I started shopping around for a place. I remembered this local place that allowed you to drive up for on-the-spot repair and they work on your tire(s) while you wait in your car, so I decided to give them a try and I'm really glad I did. When I arrived there were a couple of cars ahead of me, which wasn't a big deal since this place is similar to a drive-thru you allowing you to conveniently wait your turn in your car. They work pretty quickly here and before I knew it I'm pulling forward to get my tire looked at. The mechanic was friendly, respectful, and took the time to listen to what was going on with my tire. He quickly got the tire off, diagnosed the problem, and explained what needed to be done in plain language. The problem was with the valve stem, which had a leak. The mechanic got right to work making the repair and explaining to me what he was doing. The work was done efficiently and correctly, and he made sure everything was explained to my satisfaction. There was no pressure, no upselling, and no runaround; just honest work and solid service. Oh, and the cost of this repair was less than 25 bucks! I couldn't believe I received this much service and such great work at this price point. What makes this place stand out to me is the customer service from all of the staff, but in particular the mechanics themselves that are actually working on your car. Usually, the people working on your car are hidden in a garage somewhere while you wait in a waiting room, so you never actually meet the mechanic working on your car. At Mac's you are up close and personal to the mechanic. That's a huge plus in my book. You can tell this is a local business that actually cares about its reputation and all of the customers coming there. It's the kind of shop where they remember you, talk to you with respect, and make sure you leave satisfied. If you're tired of chain shops and want to support a local business that does quality work and treats customers right, this is the place to go. They earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back for future tire and service needs. Highly recommended!

Today, while coming back from a work trip and still every bit of 4 hours away from home. I had cut…read morea turn too quickly while pulling back out onto the highway from a gas station, and ended up clipping the curb pretty bad. I pulled over immediately and saw that my tire looked like it's PSI was significantly lower than normal. And worse, there appeared to be some damage to the lip of the rim where it meets the tire. Meaning I could very well have had serious gash within the inner tube somewhere. Not to mention, it was every bit of 6pm at this point and the last thing that I needed was to get a blow out somewhere while still being hours away from home and no local tire shop open to replace it. Leaving me forced to drive over a hundred miles on a donut. I figured that I'd be a fool not to go a tire shop close by while there was a chance of one still being open. Fortunately enough, I wasn't but 20 minutes away from MG tires and the guys working there not only couldn't have been more professional and efficient, but there was also a not insignificant amount of integrity that they had as well. They immediately got to work pulling the wheel off and thoroughly examining for any potential damage to the tire as well as the inner tube. And knowing what I had told them of my situation, with me being as far away from home as I was and trying to ensure that I didn't end up suffering a blowout, they very easily could have tried to sway me into purchasing a tire that I didn't in fact actually need. However, rather than doing anything close to that which resembling any sort of self-serving nature, all they were concerned about was ensuring that I didn't have any potential fissures in the tire anywhere and that if I didn't I was able to get back onto the road and eventually home as soon as possible. Even when it was beyond apparent that had I been told that there was a leak and/or any structural damage to the tire somewhere, I would have clearly shilled out whatever was necessary to get it replaced on spot so that I could continue on my long journey back home as quickly as possible. So for that, I gotta say, I'm truly grateful. For it's always so refreshing when you experience genuine decency amongst strangers, especially when they're in a clear position to take advantage of you, should they desire to do so. I practically had to force them both to at least take a couple dollars from me for the trouble and having provided me with some assurance that the integrity of my tire was sufficiently intact to be able to make it home tonight. Seriously, I wish I could provide higher than 5 stars for these guys!

I asked can he check my tire for a leak, he looked at it and said I need a tire without even checking. Mind you, I been here on many occasions to buy a tire and repairs. he was reluctant to put air in and said there's a machine around the corner of the store for $1.50. I had a spare but crank was rusted I couldn't get it down. He said I need a new tire and that he didn't have any size tire. Long story short, I had to drive to Fredericksburg on a low pressure tire only to find out that it was a loose valve. the other shop installed a new valve in 15 minutes and I was on my way. Two hours wasted. THANKS MG TIRES!
