We had 2 adults and 2 children 8&11 on a full day of rafting and lunch. Had an absolute blast with these folks! There were two downsides: the trip started a little late, and it ended. Not too soon. Just it was over when it was done. We could have floated til dark and had a ball! Lucas was an excellent guide and cook! Gave us great info about local landmarks and pointed out some wildlife along the way. Irresponsible is an understatement! Our family made a reservation and confirmed the time of an afternoon float trip three times on the phone. We arrived early as instructed only to be told they thought our appointment was for the morning, they weren't ready to do one at our appointed time but offered another trip one hour later so we left and came back, then the excuse was they had no guide to take us at all. They didn't even call when they knew they had no guide so we could go someplace else instead of returning again. The kids were really disappointed as they had been looking forward to the trip for part of their summer vacation. We had driven quite a distance to get there, it was a total waste of a families precious time while on a vacation. read more

Amazing day on the wind river. Everything we expected and more for a rafting experience. Lucas was not only a great captain but hilarious all day. Plan on getting wet and laughing a lot. Gotta give a shout out to all the support personnel that helped us get on and off the river. We will definitely plan another trip rafting when we come back to Thermopolis! We had a terrible experience with one of the guides as he was floating with 2 fly fishing clients. My wife and I were fishing from the bank when the guide decided to come so close to us that we could have hit them casting. When I confronted him about it he began to say we didn't own the river and kept asking where we were from as if to say if you weren't from the area you weren't #$@%. We've been fishing the Wind River for over 40 years and have never encountered a more rude and clueless guide. He even went so far as to say he was going to stay put and asked "what are you going to do about it". The owner of the guide service should educate this rube and make sure he understands that as a raft in the water you have access to the entire river, from bank to bank. Encroaching on bank and wading fishermen is just plain bad fishing etiquette! read more

Went for a two hour rafting trip and our guide was Lucas. He was very knowledgeable about the area and an experienced raft guide. Our group hit all the rapids just right and had a lot of fun. I highly recommend this company and if you go here ask for Lucas. read more
