The other side entrance, which I saw families use, comes into the bowling side. The place is kept up quite nicely. It does have the capability for food service although we didnt try it on this visit. You also have the choice of music in a digital juke box. If you have the chance come on down and spend some quality family time here.

I've been in the Bloomington area all of 1yr and have met some cool and knowledgeable people on these lanes and even joined a league & on that note, the equipment is very well maintained. I had the privilege of meeting the new owners - Tony and Debbie Richardson - who have put extensive work into this bowling center. What you find inside this beautifully maintained facility is a clean; bright, family and league friendly bowling atmosphere. There's a bar that serves beer; liquor and a few wine coolers. There's homemade pizza made onsite by the owners too. If you love bowling, as I do, you'll want to stop in during opening hours and toss a game or two. At a little over $3.00 dollars a game, the please is not overpriced and his equipment is well maintained. One interesting note for bowlers: Tony has invested in Twister synthetic bowling pins...and their a wise money saving investment for Tony and his customers - they last much longer, so less replacement costs passed onto the consumer. Those Twisters fought back against me but my third game they gave up a 231 ! Whether you are local looking for family entertainment and/or league options; a bowler transiting through the Vandalia area, or maybe your staying the night at one of the nearby hotels and need something do: go bowling at Vandalia Bowl and you'll make new friend and have a lot of fun - I did! Our group of 4, two adults and two teens, was able to get two games in. Our hour ran out with just three frames left but Digger was nice enough to let us finish out. There wasn't a wait but the space did have a few additional families come in while we were there so business seemed pretty steady. We took advantage of the bar and reasonably priced beer and liquor. They have daily specials on various bottled beer as advertised throughout the bowling alley. They also have a great bowling deal on Thursday's for $5 for all you can bowl from 4-6 including shoes! The spot has touch tunes so we took advantage of making our own plays list for the time we were there. Overall this was a fun spot for a reasonably priced outing while in Macomb!
