Mark Roberts Dental Surgery are an NHS dentist, making the service they provide a lot more affordable than private dental health care, especially for those on benefits. The stock a good selection of information and leaflets explaining costs and provisions, as well as leaflets promoting dental insurance, (this can be bought for as little as £7.50 a month)... very useful! I recently had a crown returned to where it was meant to be, (I somehow managed to ping it a little too hard whilst flossing, and the darned thing made a bid for freedom, scurrying off across the floor and nestling itself amid a pile of reading material that is often to be found piled up beneath my sink). I was given a check up and the crown was glued back in place, and instead of the usual hideous prices, I was only charged £16.50 for the lot! (I would have paid in excess of £70.00 at my old private dentists!).

He was fantastic with my daughter when she was tiny and all the way through her childhood. We all switched to going to Mark Roberts. He's very non- interfering. If it doesn't need doing he won't make you have it done. He pandered to my paranoia about having my wisdom tooth removed and filled it lots of times even though he did think it should come out. I called around a few local private surgeries and best they offer was a 4 day wait. My son recommended these guys and they gave me an emergency appt the next morning. They removed the snapped tooth no problem. Very comfortable extratraction. The staff are very helpful, thorough and efficient. Went privately for this procedure. Terrible service! The doctor could not perform a canal…read moretreatment on my top 7 as I could not keep my mouth open for 1.5h that he needed. Was advised to go to another doctor, so i did. The did the canal treatment in 3 goes. Told me that the tooth did not need a canal treatment at all, just a filling. When I wanted to have a check up visit for my daughter the reception lady started shouting at me that i went to another doctor (that I was advised to do by them!) Avoid.

Had two fillings of which both had issues and had to have further work and even that never resolved…read moreanything, apart from wasting my money on poor work they did! and surprise surprise they never accept any responsibility and are flat out rude. My new dentist has since discovered the root treatment they also did on me was so poorly done it was as good as useless and needs to be redone at a cost of £600+. I don't know how they get away with this kind of service as the poor work they do always leaves its evidence behind so when you find a competent dentist all will be revealed. Don't bother with these jokers it will cost you hundreds or possibly thousands ££££ I now go to "Devon Place 7 Day Dental" who have since had to fix all of their shoddy work putting me out of pocket.
