Wilton DP prides themselves on their team approach to all the services they provide. It ensures that the practice is kept up to date with the very latest technical advances and innovations in dental science by regular in-house training sessions for dentists and staff alike. They try to provide patients with a friendly, approachable staff in a relaxed and professional atmosphere. As such members of the team are always happy to discuss any worries or concerns patients may have regarding treatment or administration.
Since its foundation in the mid-20th Century the practice has gone through innumerable alterations. In July 1992 Dr. Steve Davies purchased the practice outright, following a 10-year partnership with Dr John Alexander (both having qualified in Cardiff in 1975). Before his arrival Dr. Davies had spent some time in the hospital service, prior to a 5-year commission in the Royal Navy. Two years as an associate preceded his move to Llandaff North. He has general interest in new dental techniques, and has particular interest in occlusal studies (The effects of the bite on head/neck/joint pain). Steve is also a keen tennis and squash addict.
Dr. Neal Benford joined the practice in June 1997. Neal was formally a keen rugby player, but those days were cut short due to a knee injury. Dr. Angie Lane qualified in July 1996, becoming an associate at Wilton DP in February 1998. Angie is a keen Rugby fan, and enjoys weight training and tennis. Both Angie and Neal will be with the practice for the foreseeable future. read more
