Willy's is probably my favorite place for lunch in Orange County. The parking lot is small and can get really packed, but the visit is worth it. My boyfriend and I come to willy's a few times a month and I usually get a Greek Salad with chicken (comes with toasted pita) or a Chicken Ceasar wrap (comes with small Greek salad)- the chicken served here is a game changer. It is shredded and marinated so well. Delicious, especially over the salad! Not to mention how much I love the house made ceasar dressing! My boyfriend will usually get a gyros plate which comes with a gyro sandwhich on pita served with rice and a small salad. The one time they were out of rice, we were offered a full refund by the owner who is so kind and funny and truly has a passion for his work. We decided to wait five short extra minutes for the rice, and when it came out it was so worth the wait. *note the house made baklava is also amazing, especially when fresh! This is the closest thing to a New Jersey diner I've found out west. The food seems fresh and homemade. Excellent potatoes, eggs Benedict was really good, and my toddler got pancakes that were pretty damn good. Fluffy and rich, home made. There's nothing from a freezer or box here. This place is pretty run down. Seems like everything in the store has been stuck in the 70s or 80s, from the utensils to the place mats on the table. I really wanted to like this place because the workers and old man that took our order seemed really nice. The reviews were high also but It just badly needs an update and better replenishment of food inventory. This would be the perfect place for someone to consult to fix the business. I had the Gyro plate, which is actually a gyro sandwich with a side of rice with broth and a Greek salad for $10-11? The salad was disappointingly wilted with olives that had pits in it, which was annoying and slightly gross. At the very least, pick out the wilted salad so you customers don't see it? The gyro was delicious but for $10-11, I should've just gone to Doner G which is also in the same plaza. Their gyro sandwich comes with fries and a drink for $7. The difference is this "plate" came with rice and broth to pour over the rice, it was tasty but unfortunately unnecessary because this gyro "plate" is a gyro sandwich. This place has the best breakfast in Anaheim. Period. The food is excellent, the service is friendly, and the coffee is self-serve. Each time I go, I order the famous eggs benedict. But because we don't eat pork, we substitute the ham for gyro meat. Do it - I promise it's life-changing. Like everyone else says, "those potatoes" are in fact amazing, and you should make sure to get those as your side. Gyro meat is crispy without being dry, it's juicy and flavorful. The eggs are poached to perfection, and the hollandaise sauce is fantastic. Every benedict from here on out will have to live up to Willy's. Ordering is somewhat like fast casual - you order at the counter and they bring out your food and water. Coffee is self-serve up at the counter, which is great - all the refills I want without the waiting. So let's start out with the randomness of the location. An old strip mall, hidden behind a carwash named Puddles lol It should be on Diners Drive ins and dives. We were greeted with friendly faces,handed menu's and told to order at the counter. While we waited we were treated to their homemade Baklava. Sweet, but not too sweet, goodness you can tell was made with love. So much deliciousness Jim and I ordered Eggs Benedict (he said it was amazing) and Samantha ordered a Sausage and Cheese Omelet. All 3 came with hash browns and the Omelet with toast as well. I can honestly say he was not kidding! Oh man it was great ! The eggs were poached perfectly, and I mean perfectly. Had I not been so excited and thought about it I would have taken a picture of that . The hash browns too were cooked beautifully with a nice crisp. I can't say enough about how fantastic it was. The Omelet was great too. Light and fluffy with huge chunks of sausage in it. This little hole in the wall is a definite must go back to!!!! read more

I have had their eggs benedict and their gyro sandwich many times, and they are amazing every time. Pro tip: Although the menu doesn't mention it, you can substitute ham on the eggs benedict with gyro, and you should, because it is amazing! Their gyro meat is juicy and very flavorful. The eggs are poached perfectly -- not overcooked or undercooked. And their hollandaise sauce is the best one I have ever had, and I am very picky about hollandaise. I cannot recommend the gyro eggs benedict enough. The eggs benedict comes with breakfast potatoes or hash browns. They are both good, but their breakfast potatoes are a revelation. Found this little place from my Eat24 app. Placed my order about two hours scheduled prior to pick up. A little hidden in a shopping center with quite a few other small shops but it was easy enough to find. I ordered the veggie wrap with a side salad. I had specifically put on my mobile order "please no sprouts" and when I went to pick up my food, the gentleman even repeated my order back to me - with the mention of the "no sprouts". My bad for not double checking my order while I was there but I had only 30 mins for my lunch break and didn't have time to wait for them to remake it. The pickup process was a little confusing. Again, I placed my order two hours prior to the pickup time scheduled. Not sure if they had a lot of phone orders since they seemed to be scrambling with the order tickets they had on the counter. There weren't many people inside the restaurant. Took a good minute for someone to find my order. The food was very nicely presented upon opening my box and was very delicious. I was not disappointed with the taste. The only thing that took off one star was the fact they put sprouts in my wrap and the confusing pick up wait. I'm definitely going to have to come back and try the eggs bebedict. Met my wife here for lunch and the Greek food was just ok. Greek salads with feta (that tasted like mozzarella). Never saw feta cheese that could be grated before. Gyro meat was not carved off the spit, just taken from a package and grilled, my wife's Greek chicken salad was equally disappointing with little or no flavor to the chicken. She actually said "I would never order this again". None of the food here has the classic Greek flavors that we are used too. Sad to say that Daphne 's blows this place out of the water. At first I was going to give a rating of four stars because of its quaint location in a strip mall, and even though I only drink black coffee, IMO...I was not a fan of their coffee. Then I considered the food is good, and even though you order at the counter before being seated, the staff is friendly and professional. Willy's is a staple in Anaheim. You know it as soon as you walk in and see all of the old newspaper clippings from back in the day. It's a small "greasy spoon" type place where the service is warm and friendly. You're treated as if you're family (not like that Italian-esque restaurant). The food isn't anything vastly different. For my 500th review, I will review Willys Greek diner in Anaheim.. I had heard that this was a great authentic Greek place in OC, and so I decided to do some investigation for my fellow Yelpers. I met the owners who are Greek immigrants from Istanbul. They told me about the history of Willy's eatery and all the different Greek dishes they sell, and special family recipes. The husband and wife couple who run this place are quite funny. The wife said that they do not serve any fries at their restaurant! I ordered the Gyros sandwhich and Avgolemeno soup. The soup was good, with just the right amount of chicken, broth, lemon and not too much egg flavor. The Gyros were quite tasty, but sadly, they weren't the Gyros you cut off of a spit. They were fried in front of me and wrapped in a pita sandwhich with Tzatzaki, onions, tomatoes and spices. The food here is good and its hard to find authentic Greek Diners in the LA area. They were so nice that they even gave me a piece of baklava when I finished my plate, The food here is very authentic and tasty, It feels like you are eating at your Greek Aunt's house in Mykonos. The friendly staff, good food and quaint atmosphere make Willys a great place worth checking out in the Anaheim area. read more
