The staff was RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL to not only me but also my medical advisor and it was pretty clear that no help was going to be provided. I have never been treated so poorly before in a medical facility.

It's a pharmacy where everyone knows your name :-) They have plenty of medical necessities for ourchase such as creams you find in the hospitals (calmseptine) to locally produced items such as candles and Nola apparels. I usually come here to fill a prescription that other "retail" pharmacies do not carry. Today they only had a few of my pills left in stock. They filled what they had and will call me next week to come get the rest. How nice! I really like that old town feel that we are currently missing! I hope everyone can come support their locals. I think my prescription may be a few dollars more but worth it for supporting my local pharmacy.

Then the guy behind the pharmacy counter asked me if I was picking up meds- and I said "no, thank you very much for your good customer service" and then I looked at him- a man would like to hand me medicines for my very ill husband... unmasked. Then I looked around and all 3 of the employees I saw in the store were unmasked. I understand people's desires for freedom, but I also know the burden of dealing with long term effects of viral illnesses- and I know the burden of caution for someone I love who is highly vulnerable. It isn't something I would wish on anyone- and I don't just wish- I know my actions to prevent the spread of illness matter. I'd think a pharmacy next to the hospital would do better. I've seen this at restaurants and grocery stores- but a pharmacy?? Put a sign on the outside "attention- employees at the store don't wear masks- if that's cool with you come on in. If you are visiting ting someone at the hospital with a high infection risk or have a high infection risk yourself- shop at Walgreens" I would've gone elsewhere.

There are crystals, candles, soap, supplements, essential oils, jars of herbs, and books scattered throughout. Many of the things available are handmade and/or vegan, and you can make custom tea blends. I've been trying to drink more tea for health reasons. I wanted loose leaf tea, which is hard to find in big box stores, so I did some Googling and found this place. Went on a Sunday near closing time. The staff was friendly, and when I mentioned that I'd ideally like a tea to help with IBS, the employee Jessica suggested a custom blend. I ended up with plantain, nettle, rooibos (my pick), and oats; they didn't have fennel, which Jessica apologized for because she said it would've been a good addition. She explained each herb choice, and provided brewing instructions since one of the herbs - oats - required a longer brew time. It wasn't cheap, but it also wasn't that expensive once you figure that you're not dealing with the weight/bulk of the tea bags. Overall, a fun store for local shopping and worth the visit.

They do not review the patient's records before seeing the patient. Twice we had to correct the doctor. They double-book appointments. They charge hospital rates for x-rays, which are more, even when the x-ray is done in a physician's office. My advice: Go to Ochsner on the Southshore.

My daughter was there for 30 days, that was great!! The poeple and counclers and doctors there…read morewhere great BUT only while she was there. Once she was graduated and released they STOPPED. They did NOT send her home with her correct meds. After numerous phone calls to get help finally they sent in her scripts only to be the WRONG ones. They did NOT set her up for success leaving the facility. She is going to meetings but we have not gotten meds straight. All we need is for here to have what she needed to succeed. On a side note I did have to call her councelor about another issue and she came througth for that. I would love to recommend them whole heartedly but they need help in the back end of recovery.
