Over the last week my child was struggling with bedtime and I went in as a last resort to try and find a particular item. Upon entering, no one greeted me. The young girl who finally appeared was rude and abrasive. She was not friendly. When I asked for said item, she became snarky. She pointed them out and then disappeared. When I went to the counter to purchase the expensive item, I was met with even more rudeness. Another young girl appeared behind the counter and never spoke. The previous girl was on my side of the counter stocking and made no effort to move aside so I could pay. She said something under her breathe and they both giggled. The girl checking me out never said a word other than my total. The whole transaction was so icy, that I almost put my purchase back and left. Once the transaction was complete she handed me my bag, again without any time of goodbye as I walked out. I will NEVER go back to spend those amounts of money and be treated that way.

Whenever I go into a western store and see a George Strait cutout, I ALWAYS offer to buy it, I'm a super fan. They are extremely rare to find for sale, and if they are, they're usually expensive since they're limited edition. Well this time, they let me leave my name and phone number so that they could ask the owner. I was tickled because usually stores won't give you the time of day. I didn't expect to hear back. But 2 weeks pass by, and I'm driving through Cullman so I give them a call. They tell me to hold on a minute. "He wants $500 for it," they told me, and I totally understood but as a college student, I knew better than to spend big money like that lol!! I was about to reply but then she said, "Just kidding! He wants to give it to you for free. Merry Christmas!" YALL, I was so excited, I nearly wrecked my car. I whipped into that store and honestly couldn't believe it. I'm a huge George Strait fan, always have been, and this made my year. It seems silly but it is genuinely one of the coolest things I own now and it's right beside my collection at home. I can't think Mr. Larry enough, and also the two wonderful women who helped me!! I FaceTimed my parents, my friends, I even made a TikTok about it!! I'm so grateful and that's such a happy memory for me!! So thank yall and GO SHOP AT JACK'S!!!
