There are a couple of benches in there where you can sit down, relax, and just enjoy the view of the statue. The nose and the ears are worn, as students seem to rub it for good luck. Definitely a cute thing to check out if you're on the UConn campus :D +located in the Thomas and Bette Wolff Family Park +sculpted by Larry Waisele +located to the west of the Athletics Ticket Office

Jonathan the Husky is the mascot and symbol of the University of Connecticut…read more He is named after the state's Governor Jonathan Trumbull who served way back during the Revolutionary War. Jonathan became the school's official mascot in 1934 when it won a naming contest in a landslide. There is a real life Jonathan. His proper name is Jonathan XIII and he is a purebred Siberian Husky, white in color. He was born in Pennsylvania on December 17, 2006 and makes public appearances on behalf of UConn. This 1995 statue of Jonathan is located right outside of Gampel Pavillion, which serves as UConn's basketball arena. It's located in a mini-park at the main entrance to Gampel. There are benches and a long stone wall around the statue and it's a common sight to see students lounging around or rubbing Jonathan's nose for good luck.

While Scott makes claims to having clients in the high thousands, which include a range of…read morebackgrounds up to & including high profile clients, she provides no publicly-available evidence of this and has no public endorsements from these high profile clients. She also does not state how many are repeat clients. Whether or not she has repeat or high profile clients, I'll never know; but, falling for these unsubstantiated claims rests on me. However, what is not my fault is believing what she does claim on her website about her vocation: she can "see" Akashic Record "info." In her legal disclaimer, she neither claims that her services are for entertainment purposes only nor alerts her potential clients that she may not be able to "see" the Akashic Record pages well enough to read a first name-- or "see" any "info" at all. For these reasons, I believe that Scott provides deliberately misleading description of her services, which could be considered false advertisement. Given the reading I had with Scott, I take issue with several points most of which are listed as seen below: 1. Scott filled the time with unsolicited, self-evident, & earth-bound advice, which I wasn't paying for, and, in retrospect, not only caused my session to accrue overage fees but wasted the base session for which I had already pre-paid. 2. Scott could not see the Akashic Records, utilize her psychic abilities, or guides in order to answer if certain people from my past ever received "punitive" action about a situation they created. 3. Scott couldn't see the Akashic Records, utilize her psychic abilities, or access her guides in order to answer what the consequences would be if I ever "went public" with the information I had as a result of my interactions with said people in the above. 4. When asking about how many lives I have lived, she revealed that I had lived 7 on planet earth. I specifically asked her if I had ever lived in Ancient Egypt. She responded yes. I asked when and she answered, "1724." Ancient Egypt was in the B.C. times--not 1724. The Akashic Records don't lie; Scott does. 5. I asked her if the name of a specific person from my past who had gone by an alias was really named B**. She responded that she was turning the page [with her mind] and that she couldn't see the whole name, but that it started with either a B or a D. What a coincidence! 6. Everything and I mean every-thing she told me could have been extrapolated from the very questions I asked that she REQUIRED I read off to her--slowly--at the very beginning of the session. For example, she deduced that I liked the outdoors, nature, and animals before I asked her if magic were evil. Given the information she had about me and my question, she told me that she felt I would do well practicing as a shaman. Her response was based upon inference & not information from the etheric realm. The pattern in the session was two fold: (1.) She could easily access the etheric realm when OFFERING information but (2.) could not access any information when ANSWERING questions. Why? Even professional thieves have morals: she couldn't bring herself to answer specific questions that could truly cause collateral damage...or, conversely, was it because she didn't want to encourage a client to "go public" only to prove that Scott was indeed a fraud??? Her voice is soothing & hypnotic. Her demeanor is charming & warm. So, she sucks you right in. Scott ought to be in the radio industry or become a televangelist. She'd do very well. Scott does not have unfiltered online reviews, endorsements by public figures, or publicly-available evidence to back any of her her claims. That's why she deserves poor reviews from people who, like me, have been scammed and, therefore, harmed. For what could be argued as false advertisement, Scott needs to modify her claims and update her legal disclaimer. She does not note that her services are for entertainment purposes only or that she can't "see" the pages well enough to read them. After our session, I called her out via email on her garbage & she responded by emotionally abusing & gas lighting me! (And she calls herself a healer!!!!) I feel so strongly about how she treated me that I have reported her to the Atty General of CT; Consumer Affairs; Complaints Board; Rip Off Report; the BBB of Connecticut, Mr. Bob Olson, & the FTC. I have also stopped payment with Visa & plan to fight the payment to the furthest extent possible. Be advised she has a fraud complaint on Complaints Board dated year 2013, and the describes a similar experience. She has hired a lawyer to represent her to the ATTY Gen of CT....and that's because she can't hold her own...on her own. She had to hire a legitimate professional & a more gifted wordsmith. See ComplaintsBoard dot com for her 2013 review! October 2017: Her new legal disclaimer now reads to the effect of for entertainment purposes only. No liability for injury, etc.

NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS IS TRUE! I have repeatedly asked Ms. Scott to remove this reference, but she has not done so. I want to make very clear here that I do NOT in any way endorse her, nor will I ever refer anyone to her!
