Scott offered some great advice on paint choices. We had the whole interior including the ceilings…read morepainted as well kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. During the initial walk thru other than some things not reinstalled and clean up questionable the work looked top notch. With in a couple of weeks noticed a couple of spots that the paint had rubbed off, also a couple of spots that you can see the old color thru the supposed 2 coats of new paint. 5 weeks after the job was done I used tape to dap the baseboards which pulled the paint off. I contacted Scott about this, he is back tracking on what he told us about the curing of the paint and is unwilling to offer any assistance at all. It is unfortunate that Scott does not stand behind his work.

Others either didn't reply (maybe my job was too small for them) or just asked me to take a pic and send it. For me any company that takes the extra effort to reply and come out, is the best first impression. My jobs weren't that big, I had a hallway wall that needed to be repaired and a new deck that had to be stained. I was given advice on what I could do, but never was pressured to go with one thing or another. My painter Brent did a good job and very friendly, answering any questions I had for him. The price was reasonable and no major complaints about the end job. The only minor negatives was that no vacuum was brought to clean it up after the job was done on the inside wall (was told because my job was small), so I had to do a cleanup myself after. Also some paint came off my trim when the paint protection tape was ripped off (noticed it after, luckily I had some left over paint to fix it). The last thing was that the job started a bit later, but this was more the fault of the paint store, as the paint they mixed was not up to their satisfactory. So for this I was happy that they do look at all the details to ensure things are perfect with the color. I would definitely look to use them again in the future.

My husband and I found staff to be courteous and professional, and we especially noticed the great care they took in protecting our furniture and valuables. By the end of day one, everything had been wrapped up like one big giant Christmas present! Staff were more than patient with our two children, ages 4 and 5, whose undue curiosity resulted in a sabotaged cubby door downstairs. The painters were quite understanding, and to our relief, they were happy to sand and repaint the door at no additional cost. Overall, we found Your Edmonton Painters to have very competitive pricing. They were second cheapest out of the four estimates we received, and with the exception of our decision to revise the work order to include two additional rooms and a small cabinet, the final cost of the project was bang on the initial estimate. This came as a relief to my husband and I, as many of our renovations turned out to be more expensive than the original quote due to 'unforeseen complications' or additional cost of materials. Considering our experiences with other contractors, we found Your Edmonton Painters to be one of the best. With professional staff, competitive prices and high standards of quality, I would recommend Your Edmonton Painters to anyone considering painting or decorating their home.
