There were so many bargains on offer…read more(for all the family) and the shop was well lit and nicely laid out so that it was easy to browse. My husband bought a good quality shower proof coat, a zip-up fleece and matching hat, for £24 altogether! Apart from clothes there are soft furnishings and table lamps at the back of the store. The best thing was the great service - the lady at the till was very friendly and chatty and gave us some tips on which cafe to try afterwards! I'll definitely be going back to this branch of QS sometime to buy some clothes for myself!

There's a particularly…read moreeye-catching bakers shop (hard to drag yourself away from that one!), a great second hand bookshop (lots of bargains in there especially in biographies), a photographers, gift shops and a lovely flower shop. On the far side (opposite end from College Street) the arcade opens out beside the Co-op and car park. The arcade used to be much longer but sadly one end was lost in a fire years ago.

Its compact nature means it does not stock clothes and things you may find at the larger extra stores. The store is always quite busy but for the most part there is always room in the car park. There is also a petrol station here. Staff are friendly and helpful and all in all I wouldnt hesitate to shop here.

In comparrison to some of the larger…read morestores in Llanelli or Carmarthen this store does not stock such a wide range, it does not sell clothes and generally is no where near as good. To me personally I dont rate the store very highly as the limited range means I dont get to try as many new things. Staff are friendly and helpful and generally the store is well kept and clean. As this is the only store around it gets very busy and the car park can fill up very quickly.

Only problem with shopping in one of the only clothes shops in Ammanford is you may end up wearing the same as other people. Staff are friendly but I do get fed up of being asked if I want a store card for every purchase I make here. I wouldnt say that the quality of clothes here is fabulous and I have ended up taking many items back due to loose stitching however shopping here is inexpensive meaning you can get the latest look at a reasonable price.
