I was repeatedly told I needed a referral, something my insurance provider does not require. Repeatedly told the referral was not received, I faxed it myself. Then told a referral wasn't needed they needed doctors notes. I was under Dr. Foroughi's care for well over 5 years. they had plenty of notes and MRI imaging to substantiate the notes. Needless to say... they've refused to service me. Going back to a doctor you trust shouldn't be this difficult.

PROS: + My medical…read moreassistant was cordial and down to earth, which was in stark contrast to the neurologist that I saw. CONS: - The neurologist that I saw, Shubhi Agrawal, M.D., was unwarrantedly rude. (She told me to stop shaking my leg, which is how I deal with anxiety usually on a subconscious level [since she brought it to the forefront of my mind], because it was causing a distraction, although she refused to admit that it was causing her a distraction. This is just before she started asking me questions pertaining to the very subject of anxiety: i.e., if I was presently anxious, what causes my anxiety, how do I deal with my anxiety, etc. So I thought I would point out that I was currently anxious because of how my subconscious coping mechanism for dealing with anxiety and stress was snuffed out with a direct order and not a question whereby, I believe, both of our feelings or perspectives would've been considered. Dr. Agrawal, did not want to hear what I had to say about her demand for me to stop shaking my leg, so she cut me off and stated that her reason for doing so was because she was pressed for time. [Lucky for her, I left --and will not be returning--with fourteen minutes to spare. You're welcome.]) - Dr. Agrawal made judgmental leaps regarding my glioma and my seizures, given that my EEG on record did not demonstrate a causation between my level one glioma in my medial temporal lobe and my seizures (absence and tonic clonic). - She recommended a biopsy for a glioma that is in my MEDIAL temporal lobe; therefore, a substantial portion of my brain would have to be removed just so the glioma could be not removed but studied further (for some reason because previous medical opinions, which I disclosed, said it was not malignant). RECOMMENDATION: Don't waste your energy, patience, or time with this woman.

Terrible Doctor. My wife came in to establish healthcare as we are first-time MD residents. Dr…read more Tang denied her of routine blood tests that we wanted for our own knowledge as we have with our previous doctors. We insisted to have it drawn and was still denied. As patients, we have the right to know what the results of our blood tests are as part of an annual check up covered under insurance, even if the doctor recommends otherwise. I can't think of a reason why an internist would deny a standard blood test at an annual check-up other than being absolutely lazy. Checking blood work every 5-10 years leaves opportunities to miss early detection for a variety of diseases that can be seen before actual symptoms occur, and Dr. Tang robbed my wife of that. Find yourself a doctor who will actually take their job seriously.

When you call the phone number in the junk mailings of 833-..etc....... a Dial America employees answer. Dial America was hired and paid by JHH Medicare Advantage to try and coax consumers to sign up for this program. JHH med Advantage program has been sending me USPS mailings for me for years. With someone elses name on my street address. I am the only one living in this home ever. I have opted out thru Dial AMerica and thru elaine dorsey and douglas hill. They all have put me on a 1 year or 3 year computer supressed system. Out of concern for someone elses name being associated with my street address I called the county tax records to see if this name was an error there. it wasnt. Everytime you call JHH medicare adv program they all say we can opt you out. Take all your inofrmation and never opt you out. This is dishonesty by JHH. I need the marketing company that JHH medicare adv program is buying street address and names from. I would call the marketing company to clear up the inaccurate name and get myself deleted from the marketing company. So JHH could not buy my address anymore. If marja is reading this respond by giivng me the marketing company you are buying street addrsses from.

I really shouldn't even give this doctor 1 star but I think you are required to give a star. I was…read morereferred to him by my ENT whom I had been seeing for labyrinthitis, an inner ear inflammation which has caused me several episodes of severe dizziness. I had to wait 1 month for the appointment. I was emailed an extensive information packet to complete before my appointment. It was the most poorly designed, redundant and invasive questionnaire I've ever filled out, asking for my SSN in two places, which is not only unnecessary but unethical. The office is located in a very upscale professional building attached to Greater Baltimore Medical Center, a major area hosptial. However, the office itself was very down-scale, with no other patients in the waiting area. I was asked to pay my $30 co-pay in cash or check. I didn't have either as I rarely use cash and always pay my doctor's with credit card. I was informed that their payment policy was stated in the information packet and that's why they send it out in advance. I offered to send them a check as soon as I got home, to which the secretary said she would have to check with the doctor. The doctor then came out and reiterated the same payment policies stated by the secretary. He informed me that there was an ATM in the lobby and I could get cash there. I asked him why he wouldn't take a check and he said "I've been stiffed by people in the past." Isn't that what insurance is for, both primary care insurance and the physician's own insurance? He was completely unyielding on this matter, as well as rude and unprofessional. At this point, I began to reel off my own disatisfactions up to that point: the poorly designed info pack, the payment policies and the fact that he was running a medical practice as though it were a corner grocery store in a bad part of town. He asked me to please leave or he would call security. I asked him for what reason and he said because I was being "extremely unpleasant." At that point, I just left. I would not recommend this doctor under any circrumstances as I would simply not trust my health care, especially with regard to neurology, to someone who possesses this type of archaic mentality. I can't believe that in this day and age anyone would run a medical practice in this manner.
