If we could give zero stars, we would…read more This attorney was nothing like the referral stated. The only reason we stuck it through is because initially, he seemed dedicated and inspired by our case, and advised us that he was bringing in a specialist who exclusively works on our types of cases. That was also probably because we had an enormous amount of evidence in our favor. In fact, we provided over 4 full Xerox boxes. He drew up and sent out a few demand letters within the first month, but that was it. In the almost year that we thought we were repped by him, we realized he was more interested in trying to get us to go on his boat and anything to do with UNM sports. We ended up having to fill out, answer, and provide proof for over a hundred pages of ongoing interrogatories FROM THE DEFENSE. Not a single response was ever submitted from them regarding our claims and lawsuit. This guy had zero communication skills as (1) he was always right (2) he knew everything (3) he didn't have the patience to listen to 2 minutes of anybody else talking and (3) he would scream and yell at the top of his lungs at you (4) and after asking us to explain the backing for the lawsuit... he said we were acting like martyrs. No communication was ever relayed back and forth for info or negotiations. Not a single witness of the over 30 that we provided were contacted. This included the defense's own previous business partner who had contacted us about joining our case... as he had stolen thousands of dollars and equipment from him as well. And before we knew it, we were sent to mediation for a settlement, in which we NEVER AGREED TO. Rudy showed up with a pen and notepad; nothing else. Not one single page of evidence OR our own interrogatories with the hundreds of pages of evidence and support backing our claim were brought in to that meeting. In addition to that, the mediator, Bill Madison, made sexist remarks, we found out that the defendant's attorney used to work for him, we were humiliated and spoken down to, the defendants turned in a 2" thick pile of documents that we had NEVER seen, Rudy sold us out, and we ended up getting manipulated into taking literal pennies as a settlement. He informed us that if we didn't, the defense was going to sue us for over $250,000, and that it would take a minimum of $75,000-$100,000 to prove their lies wrong. Luckily, we saved every log, document, text, and email... and since walked away from it all. It's ironic that we decided to post our unethical experience with this attorney just as his DWI deception news came forth. It all makes sense now as to the lies he fed us with the downgrade of his law firm, office location, and supposed early retirement in order to do other things. He knew he was caught long ago. And although he no longer has a license to practice law, hopefully this testimonial will help you in what rights you have in walking away from any meeting, especially a mediation. You have the right to do so... and request that you need time to find other representation. Best of luck to you for a better outcome.

Should've known better. He yells and screams, threatens not to represent you if you don't agree,…read moredoesn't prepare or want to prepare for court, couldn't show up due to illness, sent someone who dropped the ball, was afraid to defend me, screwed up my divorce, did nothing when my belongings were kept/damaged, talked me into a plea which I should never have taken, and ultimately wanted more money. For what? He didn't get any of it right. He took me on a ride on his boat afterwards and a concert. Guess that's what I paid for. Sorry Rudy, I can't recommend you. Your idea to walk away just doesn't sit right with me even to this day.
