I should be grateful I had "so much more time[sharing] than so many other fathers", "the best thing you can do is walk away", and angrily telling me, "You can have one or four days [every two weeks], I don't care!") Too often he derided my intellectual ability to understand his decisions rather than provide meaningful insights. I found his leadership to be ineffectual and untimely for recurring childcare concerns. Ultimately, he discharged himself from our case and left my future parental involvement on behalf of my children in a precarious and disempowered state. If you are a father, I would not recommend his services as a Guardian Ad Litem. He was unwilling to value the idea of equal fatherly involvement or something on par with the mother's role in decisions for our children.
