I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were all very pleasant and professional, as first time buyers we felt a bit clueless but they were happy to explain everything to us in a way that made sense. When we put in our offer it took a while for the sellers to get back to us. I was prepared not to hear anything for perhaps a few days, but they had the courtesy to give us a call and explain that they were still waiting for an answer but they would get back to us as soon as possible, this was much nicer than being left waiting with no explanation. From a buyers perspective I would highly recommend Spencers as they seemed very fair and professional in all our dealings with them.

Their website is up to date with properties & viewings can be arranged quickly & efficiently. Whatsmore, the staff have a great deal of knowledge of their product portfolio, meaning you get answers to your questions before you commit to properties. I was suprised at how quickly they could arrange a viewing and the staff were very helpful in answering initial questions about the property. After viewing and deciding I wanted to apply, the owner personally aided in our application after hours and we didn't feel like we were being rushed into signing so he could go home. Since moving in, we have found the letting agency nothing but brilliant. They are always kind and helpful with any queries we have and I think the fact that they are a small, family run business makes them better than any other letting agency we have dealt with in the past.

Before signing up with Mark Evans we 'test drove' a number of estate agents in the area, pretending to be potential buyers (which we will have been when we had sold our house) and they seemed the best at selling a house, including being open 7 days a week, which I thought an important factor as when we would be looking for a property ourselves Sunday's would have been the only free day we would have. Mark Evans were efficient and very friendly and always kept us up to date with viewings and then when we sold our house they were great at dealing with everyone else in the chain and helping to reduce the stress.

There are plenty of public car parks surrounding this area. The staff in the estate agents are very helpful, informative and proactive.
