Everything went fine at first until she came back months later and said that my slogan was protected, which was great, but that was only half of what I hired them for, they were also supposed to protect the logo and not just the slogan. After voicing my concerns to Leela she said she would take care of the filing/protection for the logo as well at no additional cost. Months went on and today I finally get an email from them asking for a positive review, which reminded me to follow up with Leela and get an update on my logo protection and if the filing has been approved. I called their office and the receptionist picked up, so I asked her to have Leela call me back. Leela called and said that she never filed anything and that there would now be a $300 fee for the filing, and that I never sent her my high resolution logo (mind you she never asked for it in order to file it). I told Leela that this isn't right because she said she would take care of it since she didn't do it last time when we spoke, all of the sudden she calls me a "cheap @$$", and says that she won't pay for my filing fees, which is completely opposite of what she said before (she said she would take care of it for me). She was yelling at me on the phone and then hung up the phone in my face. Mind you, I paid her $1,500.00 before to get my logo/slogan protected. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional attorney/company in my life. I do not recommend Leela and Madan Law to anyone. She got her money, did HALF of the work, went back on her word, then insulted a paying customer over the phone because I am not happy with the half-completed job and her services. Unprofessional on so many levels and unbelievable. I will be filing a BBB complaint as well. Do not use this company or this unprofessional attorney so you can save yourself the hassles and headaches.
