I hired Josh, who arrived timely, even giving me an eta on his arrival. He came by and quickly got to work on the gutters. He had those done in a quick amount of time and started his pressure wash. He noticed right away the chemicals weren't mixing with the wash and after several attempts, he told me he would need to come back. He said he would be back mid week- and sure enough, Josh texted me that he would be arriving at my house. He is a newer business, and was so communicative and genuine, I completely trusted him and I was not let down! When I arrived at my house on Friday, it looked like it had been painted! All the dirt, grime, green, webs, leaves and glop were gone! My house looks stunning! I was awestruck! Not only did the house look amazing but Josh also removed a branch of a tree that was sitting on my roof- he and I had talked about it briefly before he left the first time, and that is going over and above- and much appreciated. I would highly recommend Josh's services to anyone- he is fast, friendly, honest and hardworking. Who better to trust the exterior of you home than an actual firefighter! I will be adding daylight pictures in the morning- but please know I am a picky and skeptical individual, and I highly recommend and trust Josh. Stellar service. We have been homeowners for over 30 years and I have dealt numerouse contractors. The building of our recent 3 year old house was seamless. The house is white and therefore some maintenance is required we did not think about, which brings me to my power washing saga. I called four companies. I chose S&F because I felt a good rapport with them and liked seeing two young guys build a business. They were not the lowest. I have never power washed a house before, so I relied on the company to explain things in terms I could understand. I even saw on their quote something about stains may remain after. When I questioned that, I was told of an example where you removed shutters and there is discoloration. Made sense and felt confident that my three year old house would look brand new. Make sure if you decide to use these guys, that you understand what orgnanic and inorganic substances are and that you know what is on your house. After their treatment, my house was still left with a brownish colored staining. They told me it was from a water source that they could not identify and called it "rust". Again, not a science major, so my and my husbands first thoughts were that we had defective siding. Btw, there are sprinkler heads sticking out of the beds. I just assumed they considered that, my bad. The good news was it is just mineral deposits from the sprinkler heads and it could be removed. The bad news was, IT WAS NOT INCLUDED and would be an ADDITIONAL $250. After asking them to come complete the job with no additional fees, they said they "UNDERSTAND MY FRUSTRATION, but NO!" Incidentally, They have sent me 4 repeat invoices in the last 48 hrs and are threatening to put a lien on our house. The work was done 2 days ago. I will be paying the invoice after I finish this review. Peace out S&F!
