The greatest little hideaway in Mammoth! Spectacular views with total peace and tranquility. A perfect get away spot. The staff is amazing. Thanks!

Housekeeping stood in hallway early in the am talking really loud for at least 30min. Bathroom tile on floor filthy and shower tile had gross soap scum all over it! Definitely didn't seem to be a 4 star hotel. I also gave this review to the hotel itself and Marriott!

I planned this trip with a group of friends, and they could not stop commenting about how the chalets was the best stay they've been in at Mammoth. We stayed at chalet #9 which was not a ski out, but a very short walk to the main lodge/lifts and definitely a ski in from lower road runner. The chalet itself was cozy with plentiful seating, and even extra foldable chairs for our group. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms came equipped with hotel sized toiletries, which was a nice touch. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped with all the necessities, along with a fridge/freezer that was the perfect size to fit all of our weekend groceries. I also appreciated that they even had a huge pot to make group meals like pho, even though I had already brought my own instant pot. I would 110% stay here again and recommend the chalets to all of my family and friends. This was such a wonderful find. Thank you for the awesome stay Mammoth Mountain Chalets! :)

"Antonio Made Our Stay Unforgettable! Best Customer Service Ever!"…read more I wish I could give more than 5 stars! A huge thank you to Antonio for the outstanding customer service. We were originally planning to stay at another hotel, but Antonio convinced us to stay at The Village Lodge, and I'm so glad we listened to him! It turned out to be the best decision we made. He was extremely friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. People like Antonio are what make a hotel special. We will definitely be coming back, and honestly, he's one of the biggest reasons why. Thank you, Antonio, for making our stay so memorable!

The parking garage was tight for my large truck, but it was nice being able to park right by the elevator and taking the elevator directly to my room. The room was relaxing and charming-which was exactly what I needed. The whole apartment was ADA (well almost). The bathroom was large and bright. It made it easy to maneuver with my injury and after surgery. I wish there was a handicapped bar by the toilet though. It was hard to get up and down without one. It looked like I wasn't the only one that was in need of that bar-the towel rack right by the toilet was partially pulled out of the wall as if someone used as an assistant aid. The bed was comfortable. That bed gave me the best sleeps I have had in a long time. The condo had fans in the rooms and an air conditioner in the living room. I have another surgery coming up in December, and I hope they have availability again for me.

There is one option for vegetarians, but mostly carers to meat eaters. I had veggie curry, which was good. Beer selection is limited, but not bad. As someone who has fallen in love with June Lake and hopes to one day call this beautiful part of…read morethe Eastern Sierra home, it hurts to write this review. This was only my second stay at Double Eagle Resort & Spa, and the difference from my first visit is night and day. What was once a well-kept mountain retreat has clearly declined under current ownership, leaving us with one of the most disappointing and concerning lodging experiences we've had. The property shows serious neglect. Mouse droppings were everywhere outside our room and inside on the carpet too. We literally had to sweep them aside just to get comfortable. Add in prominent water stains on the ceilings, dirty baseboards and floors around the doors, stained towels with yellowish marks, and overall grime, and it crossed into health hazard territory. We booked specifically for the spa amenities. The indoor pool water was a murky green, the hot tub area was slimy and filthy, and both the pool/spa facilities and female sauna were closed with "maintenance" signs that had apparently been there for weeks or months. This is inexcusable at a resort that promotes these as key features with free guest access. Broken window screens also let in swarms of mosquitoes, making the room uncomfortable. We made multiple attempts to resolve these issues visiting the front desk repeatedly, trying to speak with the owner, and giving them time to call back. The response was poor. One employee, Martin at the front desk, seemed more annoyed by our complaints than interested in helping. Other staff seemed polite but stretched thin, which points to bigger problems with management and resources. Double Eagle was a highlight of June Lake. Charging premium rates while delivering filthy conditions, closed amenities, and unresponsive service isn't right. We've documented it all with photos and will be pursuing remedies. If you care about cleanliness, safety, and actually enjoying the spa/pool facilities, look elsewhere. We still love June Lake deeply and will be back to the area but not here until meaningful improvements are made. Strongly not recommended.
