So to start off I'm in my early 20s and never usually care when I get bad customer service because I get that we all have rough days. I'm also in retail so I understand. But I went into this liquor store and immediately the first thing I noticed was this one worker who was just standing around and wearing his mask incorrectly. I was like well whatever he can do what he wants, but then I grabbed my stuff and I'm ready to check out. I was in line behind this one customer waiting to get checked out by the front cashier because the one man who I talked about previously was just standing behind the counter blankly staring at me for about 10 seconds. So I assumed maybe hes not open because hes not calling me over. Well after a few more seconds hes still staring at me and I asked "are you open?" He responded with an annoyed "yeah" so I went up and tried to move the barcodes around so he could scan them and I also needed to get my ID so I gave him the ID he gave it back and then again, just continued to blankly stare at me. He kinda seemed like he was on something. After that I waited for the card reader take my card and then he printed out a receipt and mumbled something that wasn't coherent in the slightest, so I asked what he said and he told me I needed to sign the receipt and I looked around for a pen and couldn't find one so I ended up asking for one and he just reached his arm under the glass protector and grabbed one that was wedged in this very thin, weird contraption as if I'd be able to see that, so I signed and went on my way. Bad customer service like that isn't cute. Other worker seemed cool, but you sure as hell won't find me back in there anytime soon. Dude needs to be talked to and maybe not work in customer service if hes gonna treat people like that. read more
