The inn commonly called Zum Stern already exists since the previous century and is now managed by…read morethe former owner's daughter Barbara and her husband Andreas. The old snuggery is very cozy and is heated by a tiled stove. Also the built-on porch made of old wood (this is the non-smoking area) is awesome. The small but mighty menu is appealing. For the small appetite different breads are offered (e.g. with cold roast pork, bacon, dripping). In the ski-son the inn is regrettably totally overcrowded at midday. The inn can be reached by chair-lift from the village Mönichkirchen. In case the chair-lift is not in operation it is also reachable by car or via the village Mariensee.
