I spotted the glass encasement from the road and pulled my car over to park and check it out. Posted informational placards provided background about the stone (such as a height of over 6 metres and a suggested carving date in the 800s or 900s) as well as the significance of the depicted symbols. The glass was clean and easy to see through. The grass around the area with the stone was well maintained.

There's an animatronic court scene that's really well done. It's dog friendly too which I wasn't expecting and was a great welcome so that Luna could come with us. There's a shop on the ground level too for all your merchandise needs!

Inverness' only cinema (not counting the one in Eden Court but that mostly shows arty films)…read more It was rammed into by a car a few months ago and as a result they have moved the reception area to the food court which is a bit confusing. You have to wait to pay for your tickets with all the people buying hot dogs and popcorn which can mean a long wait. The cinema itself it however clean and tidy. The toilets are also excellent, always clean and lots of them. Don't forget Orange Wednesdays when you get to go two for one.
