John performed at our son's 7th birthday party last weekend and it was a huge hit! We had about 20 kids ages 4-8yrs and they were all enthralled by the show. He tailored the tricks to the age group, engaged the kids by using a good mix of volunteers, and made the birthday boy feel very special by involving him in many of the tricks. There were a lot of big smiles, raised hands to volunteer and excitement. We've seen many kids shows around the bay area at Fairyland, zoos etc and John's show was overall more fun for the kids than any of them. The tricks and showmanship were similar or higher quality, and what really set him apart was his ability to involve the kids as volunteers to make them feel special. We included the 'walk around' magic after the show which was a great way to let a few of the older siblings or adults watch a more complex trick, and allowed some of the kids who came late to enjoy some extra magic. The extra time really made it into a great event. I've heard back from a lot of the parents about how much their kids enjoyed the party :). We reserved the show through a few emails and he was extremely easy to work with and reliable. For a high quality performer, this is also a very affordable option! Don't hesitate to call him for your event!

The show begins promptly at 5:30 PM, but entry isn't allowed until exactly 5:00 PM. Trust me they're strict about it. I arrived at 4:50 and found the doors locked. A gentleman greeted me at the door and kindly explained he still had a few final preparations to handle. Even with a restroom request, they held firm on the timing. True to his word, the doors opened at 5:00 PM sharp. As you walk in, you're welcomed by a staff member who checks your name and guides you to your seat. What's quirky and fun is that the same man who takes your ticket also performs the entire one-man show! The stage sits just six feet from the front row, creating a cozy and personal atmosphere. The space is very clean, and soft background music plays while you wait. The restroom is located at the back, which means you'll have to walk across in front of the audience if nature calls mid-performance. It's spotless and includes a single handicap-accessible bar next to the toilet. Best to go beforehand. There's a small counter that offers snacks and drinks, though in my opinion, the prices didn't match the portions. A little steep for what you get. This show is best suited for younger children rather than adults. That's why I gave it a higher rating, viewed through the right lens, it's charming and lighthearted. However, if it were intended for a broader adult audience, I'd probably rate it lower. One notable drawback was the unlocked front door during the performance. While we were mid-show, two people wandered in asking about future tickets, and the performer actually paused the show to answer them. I get the hustle, but it broke the flow and felt disruptive. You're welcome to film the performance, which is unusual and at the end of the show, comes a QR code encouraging guests to leave a positive review. A little unconventional, but memorable.

Check-in was very easy. Everybody was so friendly and the smell of popcorn and filled your nostrils. We loved how they offered chair cushions. We arrived early (keep in mind, no bar available) and waited until the music started to find our seats. Seats were first come first serve. Hayden Lynn (I may have spelled that wrong) by all means a fabulous entertainer. We learned at the end of the show that he is actually an award-winning Elvis tribute artist! We were the youngest ones at the show, but my mother-in-law loved every second and actually said that this was probably one of the best " "impersonators" she had ever seen- and that is quite a compliment coming from her because she has seen many over the course of her life. Please keep in mind that this experience is truly what you make of it and if you go with a positive attitude and with a true Elvis fan, you will walk out with a smile on your face! This is not an experience to be compared with the Dollywood stampede or any other major entertainment venue, but still worth the patronage.
