First impression of this place is cosy and homely. Loads of seating by fireplaces, corner sofas and nice cast iron details on the windows. I bet this place looks super cute at Christmas time. I didn't realize they don't have wifi which was inconvenient for me as I wanted to work while I was there. The service seemed a bit off too. I had to ask the servers too many questions including heir loyalty card which is answering a different question each day. When I went he question was about GOT so that's what sucked me in. No one offered any info... it seemed a bit odd. I just wanted coffee and a breakfast scrambler. My coffee was sitting there for ages because they never shouted my name until the food was ready. The scrambler was good but it was meant to have chorizo in it and I didn't taste it at all, so I think they gave me the wrong one. Three stars for good food, coffee and setting.

Wild earth is more then a bakery, more then a cafe, more then a quaint environment. It is a fairy tail of delectable goods and darling spots to be inspired in life again or to reconnect with friends and family. This adorable South side spot is the bar to which I measure all other cafes, bakery/coffee houses. I can't even put into words what it is, there is just this air about Wild Earth that makes me happy to be alive, to be me, to live where I live. It takes me away and brings me home all at the same time. The staff are so wonderful and make me laugh. The drinks are lovely, the food good but we all know why we go... The insane, delicious confections! From cookies to squares, tarts to cakes and everything in between. I love it all! I especially love all that is made with the word lemon in it: Hello lemon loaf, ya, I h-e-a-r-t you soooo much, but not as much as your square brother.... Need I say more?

This is one of my favorite bakeries in Edmonton. It is nice, cozy and customer service is great. I've tried their strawberry rhubarb and creme brûlée tarts ($3 ea.) and they're fantastic. Also, if you order some chocolate milk ($2.50), they will make it for you and you will get it in a nice mason jar. I've also tried their chorizo scramble and iced coffee, which are pretty descent if you ask me. I'll definitely be back to try more of their baked goods. I've heard their raspberry white chocolate scone is fantastic so that'll be next on my list.

Delicious latte! I need some serious pep in my step.

We recently moved, and I was very fondly attached to a family owned cafe in my old neighborhood. Wild Earth is now my closest cafe, so I went in the other day to scope it out. First of all, it's pretty big- which means lots of seating and you're probably more likely to get a table. Windows everywhere, lots of natural light. Gotta love that. The staff member who helped me was new at his job, and was enthusiastic, friendly, and immensely helpful. I wanted a tea and he knew everything about all their available tea. My jasmine tea ended up being super delicious. They also have a huge spread of bakery treats!! I didn't try anything this visit, but next time I plan to pull up at a table with a coffee and one of those amazing looking treats. Looking forward to this being my new haunt!

I enjoyed a blueberry tart and lavender tea from this little cafe. Most of the baked goods were sold out when I got there. They should top up on their selection throughout the day. There was a good selection of loose tea leaves to choose from as well. My lavender tea was aromatic and light tasting. The cashier was new. She made multiple transaction mistakes. Hope she gets better at her job soon.

I like Wild Earth. I like the location of it and I like the atmosphere. I don't like how busy it can get. There have been a couple times where I have gone in and there were no tables available. I guess that's inevitable though. These guys have pretty decent coffee and the definitely have some tasty treats. The baking always seems pretty fresh which is why it is always good. The prices are typical for a coffee shop these days. It's a nice place. If you haven't been, give it a shot!

Do you need a birthday cake? From Wild Earth, yes you do!! :) My favourite, and IMO, best cafe in Edmonton. Fresh food galore!! Delectable baked cakes - moist and decadent! Espressso deep and rich. Baristas wonderful morning people. Brightly lit, soft music. A place you can write a novel or catch up with a friend, or indulge in a perfect croissant. Bring your hotspot if you'd like to catch up on the laptop. This is a wonderful place for people who actually read the morning newspaper or a new novel.

Reduced portion sizes five times in two years. Using cheaper ingredients. Trying to be upscale but falling down on the basics. Fail.

The sandwiches were not bad. The creme brûlée was horrible. The sugar crust was completely charred in some places and raw in others.

So if you're looking for a 8am coffee, you will need to bring your own. This morning I was the first customer and was greeted by a friendly young man who made the perfect iced matcha latte! I will definitely be ordering this again! Beverages here come in one size (or at least I think they do). Their syrups are 183 and you can opt for sugar free even as their matcha powder is pure and unsweetened and then they add syrup! See you soon! We took our latte and desserts to go. Snack cake and mini cakes looked Amazing. We tried the cheddar chive scone. 9/10. So moist and fluffy and perfectly cooked, just wish it was more flavorful. Banoffee tart - 9/10 tastes like a banana cream pie! Needed more toffee/caramel layer. Crust was hard to cut but tasted fine. Mini egg cheesecake - 7/10, personally not a fan of Graham crumb and this one was definitely not an exception. And the cheesecake was just fine but not wow. Overall better than I expected and would come back to sit and have coffee on a date or grab a snack cake for a special occasion!
