I was getting to an age where long hair wasn't suiting me and I wanted to find a hair dressers who would spend time looking at pictures and helping me make a decision on my new cut. I decided to choose Wild about hair as they responded to comments on their review page,good or bad. I also went for a top stylist in the hope they might listen to what I wanted. Alaine was fantastic. She took the time to help me choose my cut, and once done it's been transforming, I love it! I have also had it re coloured at Wild About Hair, and will keep coming back for the colour and highlights, and of course the trims.Worth every penny! read more

First of all- Wild does cost a little bit more than some of the hairdressers in Wrexham, that's just how it is, but you really get what you pay for. The staff are friendly enough and they are the only hairdressers I've been to that actually listens when I say 'cut the minimum off please because I'm growing it out'. And they actually ask me how I would like it styled after the cut too. I have been charged extra for my hair being curled rather than straightened before but they don't charge you extra. On top of that, the decor is fantastic and they always offer you a drink whilst waiting or when you;re being styled. It's become my regular salon after years of trying different salons out with hopes of better service than the last. I would recommend. read more

Rip off merchants! Decided to give them a try as there was 40% off colours advertised in the Evening Leader. However, god knows what there prices are to begin with as they charged an absolute extortionate price for a cut and blow dry and tried to tell me that before the discount it would have cost about £130. Wouldn't have minded if they had done a good job but it was nothing like I wanted after me sitting there patiently for over 3 hours. Worst experience I've ever had at a hairdressers and I certainly will not be going back. My advice, stay well clear! read more

Generally friendly atmosphere. Good cut and style plus hair colouring. Bit pricey for this area though (a lot of unemployment around here) which means I have my hair done a bit less often than I otherwise would. Having said this, I go back time and again, so that speaks for itself? 4 stars - minus one star due to prices - otherwise it would have been a five! read more
