I ordered 3 mosiac tiles to be delivered to me as my local store didn't have stock and I didn't have time to be chasing all over the country looking for some.
Big mistake, what I didn't realise is that although the website is a national one your order is picked from your nearest store - the one without stock!
So the day before delivery I get a phone call saying that they're out of stock (this is mid July) but I could either cancel the order or wait until the last week of August. Well, as we'd changed the design in our bathroom I need those tiles so I have waited, and waited.
I've used a chatbot to say why do I have to wait when other stores have stock - send my order from them.
I've contacted customer service to say the same - they have said (twice) that someone from the store will contact me - still waiting for the store with no stock to contact me. Surely I'm not the only one that can see the stupidity in that?
So all in all the experience has been really bad. I wouldn't not recommend Wickes, they don't care about customer retention or statisfaction. read more
