We made ample use of the on-site restaurant for breakfast multiple times and for lunch at the pool once. The staff, particularly the bar staff, were lovely. The pool was great. It was still colder than a lot of people would like so we had no trouble finding space. We were even able to take up a table to play some board games. The only complaint we had was that despite indicating we would like housekeeping every third day they never actually came. We made do but it was a little frustrating.

The room was spotlessly clean and had a nice seating area with a couch. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning the room during our stay. The staff at Hyatt are truly exceptional. Every time we were in the lobby we were cheerfully greeted and asked how we were. We had happy hour the first day we were there and the gentleman that served us was delightful. I didn't get his name but he is semi-retired. He used to work at the Eldorado Resort. When I mentioned that my white wine wasn't cold enough he put the glass of wine in the freezer to chill for me. All information is provided by QR code. I prefer to have written documents that I can access. It was difficult trying to access information with the QR code. There is a charge for parking and breakfast but the staff were kind enough to remove these charges when we mentioned that we had a problem with the air conditioning in our room and could not get a comfortable temperature. They thanked us for bringing it to their attention and said that they would look at a promptly. My husband used the hot tub and really enjoyed it. The hotel is well located just off the highway. Traffic noise is not a problem and there is easy access to shops and restaurants. We would absolutely stay at Hyatt Place again. They treated us very well and it is a lovely place to stay with amazing staff.

We were leaving very early the next morning. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is modern and attractively appointed. Plenty of parking spaces. The shuttle was out front very early, as we requested. We were across the street with our loads of luggage within minutes and the driver was so helpful with loading and unloading the luggage. As an SPG member, we received a little thank you/welcome gift in the room as well as a note. We love this hotel and hope to experience the breakfast next time.

Stayed at the Accent Inns (Kelowna) for a few days while we visited friends and enjoyed the nearby…read morewineries. I purposely chose a room with a Kitchenette, because my husband and I like the option of cooking light meals if we don't feel like going out. Hotel is located on the main strip and is a conveniently close to a nearby strip mall with a grocery store, which is where we went to buy some light groceries. (There are also a number of restaurants, including the Ricky's steps from the main door, Starbucks, and a take-out pizza place). There is plenty of free parking included, and front desk and cleaning staff were all very friendly in their interactions. I liked the suite that we stayed in: clean and comfortable with a strong working Air Conditioner and extra pillows and blankets included (because I always find it a hit or miss with the warmth of hotel blankets) and a full bathroom with your basic toiletries. The rooms were great at noise cancellations which was a blessing since there was some light construction nearby on the days we stayed at the Inn. The Kitchenette had one of everything we could think of: one set of mugs, cups, small plates, dinner plates, cutlery set and cooking utensils and small appliances plus a two burner stove. At times when we were making dinner we wished there could have been two of certain items (i.e. two cutting boards or another set of cutting knives), but we were able to make do. Check-in and out was a breeze with everything clearly explained, and I thought we got good value on our stay. If my husband and I visit another city with an Accent Inn, I will definitely consider staying there as well.

The bathroom was a generous size. Appreciated that the shower had sliding doors instead of a curtain. Large mirrors in the bathroom and the main room were nice. Chair at the desk was comfortable as was the oversized chair. Blackout curtain worked very well. Sometimes light will still seep in through a crack, and one could tell when the dawn had arrived, but it still kept it subdued enough to not be surprising. Appreciated the hooks in the room to hold bags - haven't seen that in any other hotel room before. I didn't hear one other person except some noisy kids going down the hallway and when an occasional door would close hard so pretty quiet. I'm a light sleeper and wasn't woken up by anything either night. Welcome note with a can of trail mix was on the desk when I entered the room. For hygiene reasons, would be better to have a sealed, new package vs. a handful sitting in a tin. Room service is available from the hotel next door. When you order, they will bring it to the front desk and then you pick it up from there. The pizza with sausage, apples and arugula wasn't good; crust was bland and flat and the combo of ingredients didn't work. Thai lettuce chicken wraps were basically lettuce, chicken chunks, a sauce and tortilla strips, not the traditional recipe but tasted ok. Carrot cake was good. Had to-go bags for breakfast that had an apple, bottle of water, plain bagel, pb and jelly. No utensils included. Hot breakfast included but didn't have that. The internet was spotty to the point that their bank lines couldn't take a credit card for 20 minutes. Had to call the credit card company because the card kept giving a decline message and they shared there was no input of any transactions at all, verified by the hotel manager who said nothing was showing up on his end either. The card company said it was probably the internet or bank line and sure enough, that was the issue. Saw other people going through the same trying to check-in. When I was working on my laptop, got a disconnect notice a few times. Then I saw that the hotel has a disclaimer that the free internet service is good only for checking emails or surfing the web and there was an additional charge if you wanted the real internet speeds.

When checking in, we realized the airline only booked us one room for 3 adults. The front desk supervisor at the time told us to just get settled in first and they had a two bed room set up for us. They called the airline to ask if they'd cover another room. Unfortunately, lynx did not. They are the worst airline... But moving on! We loved our stay. From the moment of check in, service was amazing and very friendly. As a proud Hilton ex guest services agent, I was really impressed with the staff here. And the room was gorgeous!!!!!! Online photos are absolutely accurate and everything was really clean. Heavenly beds indeed. My one single complaint would be the AC. It's really loud at night and didn't seem to adjust the temperature much. It got really cold at night even when we tried to turn the AC down. Luckily, we could easily request an extra blanket. This is a problem I notice most hotels have, so I'm wondering if it's just a larger building problem. Still, worth looking into. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which is open 7-10 am. They have so many food options and the cutest toast and waffle stations! And despite the crowds of people, the staff were so diligent, it was always super clean. Can I please shout out Alice, one of the breakfast supervisors? Alice was so nice. She cleans up the tables for the guests and is always smiling and cheerful. She actually helped me at the waffle station because I couldn't figure out how to turn the iron, haha!! The breakfast team are just so friendly and cheerful. I saw the manager came out to help bus the tables too. I love seeing management coming out to get their hands dirty and help the team. Leading by example is so important in this industry. It sets a tone for the team that reports to you. All in all, I loved our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I ever needed to. It's definitely an airport hotel, so 15 minutes from downtown Kelowna, but worth the drive.
