I love browsing game shops. Whether I'm actually purchasing a game or just having a look, there's…read morenothing like having a walk through the shop taking a look at what's on offer. Unfortunately at Gamestation, browsing for a game isn't as leisurely as it normally is. The shop is very tiny for one and there isn't much of a unique variety. There's basically only a selection of the biggest AAA titles instead of random interesting looking games. To put that in perspective if you aren't into videogames much, it's like a bookstore only having Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Twilight. Yeah, a bit shit huh? Be careful as well. Since this place is at the Cwmbran shopping centre, there's usually fairly long queues of mothers being dragged here by their kids begging for early birthday presents.

A great store to pick up bargains especially novels. I've been quite surprised as sometimes you can…read morepick up sensational bargain novels. I've even found a few 1st editions here - didn't realise that until I got home with my bargains! Their cards are great value especially the ones with no message - the notecards. It's so easy to print your own message in them & at often £1 for 10 cards - one heck of a lot less expensive than buying ready made cards - often they look better too! I usually pop into the Works & invariably come out of there pleased with my purchases. I REALLY should go to the library more often - could save me a fortune!

Not a bad book shop. The are at the cheaper end of the market, and don't pretend to be anything…read moreelse, which means that you can pick up a bargain novel, documentary or biography. They also sell stationery, and a few musical instruments and some art supplies, and a lot of children's books. You can also pick up seasonal items such as Christmas Cards, Easter Gifts and Halloween Bits. They do not stock a full range of book titles though as you would find in for example borders, or water stones, so if you are looking for a specialist or particular book, you would probably be better off going somewhere else.
