Dice , card games and books, video games of almost all systems, older and current action figures , baseball cards and such, comics, and a little bit of in between as far as cooler items that comic book shops sell. It looked very organized and everybody was helpful. The prices were absolutely reasonable, no price gouging here. If you know what you're looking for , you should be able to know the right price. I was happy with the prices as I'm a collector myself. I found that specialty POP item and I am happy I dropped in.

I tried to redeem a reward which was within the valid time frame but the bar code would not register on their checkouts. Both the cashier and the store manager could not get it to work. Their final response was too bad it won't work so there is nothing we can do. They should have taken the coupon as payment. Hobby Lobby has always been my fun and creative place to go. I got a beautiful print from my…read morehusband for Christmas and decided to go to the Rapid City Hobby Lobby for custom framing. I explained that I had never gone through the custom framing process and asked if she could guide me. This employee was rude and smug the entire time. When I asked questions her replies were snidely snapped back at me. There were two women working this day (New Year's Eve early afternoon). One was a woman named Cindy who was very kind and jumped into the conversation after the other had spent about 10 minutes being an unkind human. I don't recall the rude one's name but she was fairly young. Bottom line is I spent my $300 at Micheals for the custom framing. Prices were very comparable but service was not. I recommend Dakota at the Rapid City Michael's over Hobby Lobby any day.

I have never been approached by any employee anywhere at any store and been accused of being a person who has shoplifted. They need to definitely work on this issue. I even requested them call the police, but they did not. I was and felt insulted and about the way the manager addressed me.

Outside they have bins with larger rocks that you can purchase by the pound. We bought several pieces of petrified wood, just because they were neat. Inside are smaller rocks and rock accessories. My daughters in particular loved the make your own jewelry area. You can select a polished stone, a metal cage to hold it and different types of chains and cords. The necklaces they made look pretty nice and are a couple of their favorite souvenirs from our trip. The ladies working in the shop were very friendly and helpful. It sounds like they gather some of the rocks themselves which is pretty cool. We mainly stuck to national parks during our trip and they don't really like people taking their rocks, so it was fun to buy some cool ones to take home.
