Coffee bar

I am always pleasantly surprised when a coffee shop has creative tea options and let me tell you--there is an extensive amount of tea options! I tried the vanilla chai latte and it had a spicy kick to it, just wished that it wasn't lukewarm in temperature. I like that they make their own concentrate for the chai, although if you pick an option with their loose leaf teas, they are bought. There was plenty of seating and the music/people were not too loud. The barista was knowledgeable and provided recommendations. Would definitely like to come back and try the other teas!

Coziest coffee shop with lots of seating. My favorite shop to sit and read in downtown Dayton. I always love whatever music playlist they have going on-- never too loud, usually some kind of jazz or lofi stuff. I will get spinach and feta pastry just about every place that offers them, and Wholly Ground's is my favorite. Staff has always been really kind, too.

This is the most perfect, tasty Americano with one shot I've ever had served to me. Just the way I like it.

Always a great place to meet someone for a coffee meeting or sit and work. I love the jazz and the plants! This is my go-to coffee shop.

Always such a great, ambient shop to sit and do work or read in. They've always got lovely seasonal drinks as well.

Wholly Grounds is a great spot to chill and do work with friends. The drinks are all around good so much so that my friend asked me to make sure she didn't spend too much money. The aesthetic is calming and comforting with some really cool art and decor. Highly recommend!!

a cup of iced coffee and a wallet on a table

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this little coffee shop on Wayne Ave. I tried a lavender oat milk latte and it was *chefs kiss.* Quite an excellent cup of coffee!! I will be back again, and not just because of the cute ambiance/board games and books available to peruse in the shop. Great customer service from our barista, feels like a community staple in the downtown Dayton area.

Awesome place! Got a gluten free cinnamon roll and small iced sugar free latte with soy milk. Really appreciated how the batista put A LOT of carmel in for me like I asked and it was sooo good and just the right amount of sweetness. Cinnamon roll was sweet and delicious and loved the gluten free option too. I felt energized after the coffee instead of jittery which I loved. The atmosphere here was wonderful and I loved the plants, dark wood, and Edison bulbs everywhere. I was also impressed with all the cool drink options! They had options to include alcohol in some drinks and had strawberry cream and blueberry coffee drink options which you don't see everywhere. Very cool and creative.

Chocolate chip muffin with cinnamon cappuccino

This place is pretty cool. Nice, open seating, very clean, cute decorations. I got a chocolate chip muffin that was amazing, my friend got a raspberry white chocolate chip scone, again amazing. The cappuccino with oat milk and cinnamon on top was good but nothing to rave about and the house blend coffee was pretty good! All and all definitely a place it's come back too.

The location here is gorgeous and cozy. you could come and hang out all day. Wile I will say the coffee is not quite at Ghostlights level it is very good and the barista take their time to do things right. The people working are super friendly and willing to answer any and all questions and are very knowledgeable about what they are carrying. They carry a lot of gluten free and vegan bakery options from Purely Sweet and everything we had was very tasty. They are still getting their feet on the ground and finding what works for them in inventory but I am hopeful that this will be a nice little local spot as well.

Central Perc European Cafe at 2315 Far Hills Ave in Oakwood is celebrating their 29th year in…read morebusiness this week! Congratulations to Mike and his wife Rosie. Bringing a bit of English Ambiance to the Midwest, visitors love Central Perc's popular Afternoon Teas, served from 2 to 4 p.m. The tea menu changes seasonally and Mike is meticulous about steeping tea for five minutes, and instructs new customers about how to approach the imposing three-tiered stand of Afternoon tea goodies of sandwiches, scones and pastries, saying, "Begin at the bottom, and work your way to the top. If afternoon tea is not your thing visit and enjoy breakfast with a friend or come have lunch. You will not be disappointed.

1. Cash or venmo... not sure who pays for food with a check but these are your only options…read more.... and no signage at door.. 2. Not friendly place and no service. You need to know how the operate bc they are not going to help you. You need to get your own menu and place your order at counter. 3. Ordered the afternoon tea. Took forever to receive a pot of tea and we had to wait while it seeped at the table. Took over an hour to get some finger sandwiches. 4. Several tables came in after us and were served and finished before we got the tea. 5. Cucumber sandwiches were the best. The other sandwiches are basic, no flavor, very bland. Scones were dry and the desserts are store purchased. Watch the lemon, it tasted bad. 6. Never checked on us to see if everything was good. We have been to so many tea rooms all over the country that I guess I expected better. Very disappointed.
